Welcome aboard Andy! League is sitting at 7 at the moment, still two weeks from our projected draft day so plenty of time to get 7-9 more.

bcats - remember you still owe 150 points. Please try and have this posted up by draft day.
Everyone else, make sure you can log in to the league with info I've PM'd. Haven't seen any issues yet, but just want to be sure we're all set.

Opening day is 15 days away! Who knows how many more poker badges I'll have by then

I would like to be in however I do not like the OBP as a categorgy as well as the k/9 and the h/9. why not just have AVG instead of obp, just K instead of k/9 and era instead of h/9.

Easyliving -I understand your concerns, so let me try to address them:

We went with OBP because if we just went with average, then you are being penalized for your hitter (losing an AB) drawing a walk. A hitter drawing a walk should be a positive event, not negative.

We went with K/9 instead of K because everyone knows that come playoff time, some teams will try to stream a bunch of pitchers, filling up on quantitative stats (Ks, Wins), thus devaluing the pitcher position. By valuing K/9, it adjusts because you can't just load up on pitchers, you need to have pitchers with a high K/9 ratio.

We do have ERA as a stat (W, S, ERA, WHIP, and K/9), initial post contains a typo. These are the pitching stats we have in place. Hope you join us!

We had to shift draft to 30th because Andy can't draft on Fridays. Draft scheduled for 6 PM EST on the 30th...if you can work something out let me know!

I trust bcats is good for it - I know he's paying out of a loan now (at an excellent pace), and has made multiple contributions to this buy-in.
