If you post up 100-150 now, I'll let you post up the remainder by draft date. If that sounds reasonable to you, send the points. My intent is for this to be a fun league for everyone involved, and not have to chase down people for points after the season starts because they don't like how their team was drafted.

Correct - I'll edit the initial post to make it clearer.

Weekly H2H, daily lineup changes are allowed 5x5 with Runs, RBIs, HRs, Steals, OBP, Wins, K/9, Saves, WHIP, and ERA

We can vote on it and change it if more people have the same issue.

My reasoning is that this leaves is with 3 qualitative stats (K/9, ERA, and WHIP) for pitching compared to 2 quantitative stats. We've all been in leagues where come playoff time, people stream their 6 pitchers a week to try to win the quantitative stats and disregarding the qualitative, devaluing pitchers. By using K/9, this helps in preventing that, attributing a more accurate value to pitchers.

If everyone would prefer Ks over this we can switch - I don't want this to prevent a good league.

It's pretty standard to replace BA with OBP to account for walks in many leagues.

tt, given all your talk, I encourage your participation in the league. Don't tell me the difference between you being amazing and mediocre is the transition from BA to OBP...

I dont mind BA to OBP, u think about it people like Votto get walked a ton and have nothing to show for it. Can you not do both?

The key is to keep batting and pitching stats equal, so that way hitters are not overvalued compared to pitchers.

If people prefer BA to OBP we can switch, something we can vote upon once the league is established with its members.

If it comes to a few days before the draft, and we don't have 8 people, at that point we will take a vote and decide whether to play with us, or just return the points.
