I picked up that Maxwell kid from Houston last week.
He has tons of power, projected to hit cleanup.

I'm looking forward to Pedro Alvarez rising to the All-Star caliber player he is very capable of becoming.

El Toro has shown signs of brilliance at the plate and at the hot corner.

Consistency, like many other young players, is his biggest challenge...

I don't know if you call him a sleeper, But I like Chase Utley to have a good comeback.

He has some great pop, but must cut down on the strikeouts.

I enjoyed heckling him when he played against Pawtucket - I heckled him for a few games from the CF bleachers and he would actually turn around between plays and wave us off, haha. Very talented player.

Exactly. You hit the nail on the head, koz-man.

There's no reason why McCutchen and Alvarez shouldn't be one of the most lethal 3-4 hitters in baseball.

Russell Martin has been a perfect fit for the Pirates this year.

I know many questioned the deal, but there is no question now that it was a great move!

                              Go Bucs!

Probably not much of a "sleeper" any more...

Jeff Locke has been a huge contributor to the Pirates success so far this year.

I don't think many expected the type of stats he's putting up.

his been flying under the radar due to harvey and wheeler but Hefner has put multiple quality starts in a row now and he is probably available in 90%+ of the leagues.

Hefner has been really good lately, great point. He shutdown the D-Backs who roughed up Harvey recently
