unfortunately salvador perez was everyones favorite sleeper this year....i loved having him in the 2nd half last year he almost won me the whole thing...he went earlier than i thought in my draft this year. right now, i have a combo of carlos ruiz (suspended) and ryan doumit. i LOVE having catchers that dont catch every day but have the eligibility. for instance napoli, victor martinez, and now doumit (C/OF eligible). these guys have added value because they dont go through the wear and tear of the season, dont lose at-bats to off days, and avoid the dangers of injury from being an everyday catcher

Joe Mauer will be back to his old self. He's never going to live up to that contract, but this year he will make it only seem a little but ridiculous.

                Posey just got paid!

Giants signed C Buster Posey to an eight-year, $159 million extension with a $21.4 million club option for 2022.
The deal is being added to his $8 million contract for this season, so he'll receive a total of $167 million and will be under team control for at least nine more seasons. The contract, which also contains a no-trade clause, buys out Posey's three remaining arbitration years, as well as at least five free agency seasons. The reigning National League MVP, Posey bounced back from a horrific injury in 2011 to bat .336/.408/.549 with 24 homers and 103 RBI last season.

I think a Soto/Pierzynski duo could be a lethal combo.

Sorry, third, not second. That doesn't change my point though, he is too young to know to slack off.

Rosario should provide power but little of anything else.

Buster Posey is getting paid like the #1 catcher now.

I agree but usually when a guy gets a big contract he stinks it up.
