Hey guys, I'm curious as to how much of a science you have your strategy down to.
Do you guys project how many points your line-up is going to score every night?
For example, for the line-up I posted above, I projected 283

Jeeps - I always like those angles myself. I actually considered Speights tonight vs Memphis but ultimately passed.

Cremice, I dont go too deeply into projected the score, but I do usually guess what certain players will get. More or less a "so and so will get me 50, and so and so 45 and then I need 205 from the other 6 for 300". Basically the way I think at least. I always shoot for 300 points, seems thats a usual cash. Sometimes 270+ does fine though as well.

Cremice,

I use to run formula after formula to try and get a projected score for a player and it drove me nuts. There are so many angles that you can try and get a projection from that you need to make it your full time job if you do that.

I try and find guys who are playing teams in the bottom 10-12 in defense efficiency and then try and look to see if that team they are playing ranks in the bottom 10-12 for fantasy points allowed to that position on the season and the last 10 games. After getting that I look into how the player has played against the opponent this season and if he is scoring above average against that opponent. I will also use how a player has done over the last 7 days and see what kind of numbers they are putting up. I am also a big fan of grabbing players who are dirt cheap and are filling in for an injured player. Just look how Belinelli has been doing over the last few games with Hamilton out, the guy is averaging 40 plus minutes per game the last two games.

I am battling between Jennings and Ellis today. Who should have a bigger game? I love Gasol today if Randolph is still out. Scola should still get a slew of minutes with Gortat being out. JR Smith repeat from last game if Anthony's minutes are limited? Dano to me is the best SF on the board today.

yeah I'm pretty high on gasol also and it sounds like Randolph is out. Having a hard time choosing between Jennings, Williams , or RubioRubio
