From a psychology standpoint how does Michael Crabtree respond today from being accused of sexual assault?

This is tough, he could go about this two ways.

1: He can have this lingering in his mind and it could easily effect his play today.

2: He could use this as motivation and have plenty of anger and go out and tear it up.


My personally thought on this we could see more of number 1 today. No matter how much you try and put this out of your mind it is extremely tough to overcome an accusation like this. I am sure his teammates are going to be supporting him but to avoid him from not focusing on the task at hand they need to refrain from saying anything about it. It should be brought up once in a team meeting and make it clear to him his whole team supports him and then they drop it.

Tough call to make if you are playing any daily fantasy contests since he could be a big asset to your team but do you spend the money on him knowing he has this in his mind.

The only allegation I can find is something about sexual assault but any specific is never mentioned. Supposedly he has a witness (female) who backs up his side of the story. Funny how most professional athletes always have the handy witness...

This is the article I read on the USA today about this when it first came out. I actually read it on Saturday night and I had crabtree in majority of my daily fantasy lineups for Sunday. I took him out since I know this will linger in the back of someones mind and it will effect their play. Glad I took him out since he only had 6 receptions 57 yards with 0 TDS and 1 fumble. Not saying that his a horrible game but for what his cost was in daily fantasy leagues it was not worth it.
