I like the week by week sites, rather than the draft leauges... week by week takes more skill... all players and match ups are in play and one person is not stuck to a small pool of players over and overComment -

#12Bigdeem if you mean rake most of them take out a good ammount .For example if you enter a $5 h2h on fanduel the winner will receive $9 and that means 10% rake. For example if you enter a $5.35 on draftking the winner will receive $10 so its like a 6% rake.As for the other sites i'm not to sure but I hope I answered your question.Comment -

#13I come up with ... h2h on fanduel is equivalant to making a single bet at -120 odds at a sports book ... poker analagy, 9 to 10% rake
... but also, no wire fees or anything like that ... and u do get a cetian amount of Site Credit Points back for each entry
... the real money seems to be in the referral program, which seems pretty decent... a % of the rake from entries of people u refer to the siteComment -

#25Wulfman,
I am not. You can check all my back posts if you want. I have had people ask me that before, but I have never been banned. His name was batemanpatrick. Im Patrickbateman, easy mistake to make but I assure you we are not related.
As far as the rake or vig or whatever we want to call it goes...how can one overcome it? Even if you did win 60% of the time which is enough to scratch out some winnings, you still wouldn't win all that much.Comment -

#30If you really want to make some good money you need to play big money to win big money games. Playing a head to head with someone for 100 or more is the way go. You need the bankroll to do it. Look at some of the guys who are big time on fanduel and you will see they play the head to heads for a few hundred bucks. The one thing I do notice about them is they will play the satellite tournaments for the DFBBC Trying to win one of those tournaments they run that has 2500 people playing in it is kind of like trying to win the lottery. You need luck in those no matter how much you study. I study my ass off on this stuff and I still have plenty of off nights since I do not have the luck like some people have.Comment -

#31For me Fanduel is the way to go. However with the 10% or so that they take your not going to make any money really playing for small amounts.Comment -

#35jeepsguy,
Thanks for weighing in on the subject. I totally get what you are saying and it makes sense. If you are halfway decent at making good lineups I believe a 60% win percentage is possible. That being said playing $10 or $25 games, you can't make much hitting even at a high rate like that. You need to play the higher limits.
However, I have noticed that some of the bigger players on there literally have 25-50 entries. There is one guy on fanduel that is in tons of games ranging from the lowest price to the highest. So whats the strategy there for a person? Why play $10 h2hs when you are also playing $535 h2hs? Its not like their point system for play really pays off all that great. At first I thought maybe they were just trying to accrue points, but they aren't worth all that much. Any theories on this?Comment
