    Dilemma
Already off to a shitty start this week thanks to Roddy White chokin it up last night. Need a win to secure a playoff spot, but I have an absolute mess at my QB and RB spot. I'm in a PPR league by the way, and I would really appreciate any feedback you guys have. So this is what I have to work with:

    QB: Josh Freeman, Ryan Fitzpatrick
RB: Frank Gore, Demarco Murray, Felix Jones, Marcel Reece, Reggie Bush
WR: Roddy White, Wes Welker, Justin Blackmon
    TE: Tony Gonzo
    K: Akers, Walsh, Janikowski
    Def: Balt, SF

So I'm wondering what you guys are thinking as far as who I should start based off this lineup. This is what I'm thinking as of today:

    QB: Freeman
    RB: Gore
    RB: Reece
    WR: Roddy White
    WR: Welker
    WR: Blackmon
    TE: Gonzo
    K: Walsh
    Def: Balt

What would you guys do? Really could use some help here.

Would go Fitzpatrick with the better matchup by a slim margin . All the others I agree

Thanks for the feedback Winning...I like Fitzpatrick's matchup too, but I haven't been very impressed by his production lately. Still undecided on the QB starter. By the way, Blackmon is in the flex spot so my current starting lineup should read as follows:

      QB: Freeman
      RB: Gore
      RB: Reece
      WR: Roddy White
      WR: Welker
      *WR/RB: Blackmon
      TE: Gonzo
      K: Walsh
      Def: Balt

Why do you have 3 kickers in the first place when you only have 3 wrs. Start cutting some kickers and picking up players. I say fitz and rbs you have to keep checking in on updates in murray and mcfadden start. Also for kicker I would go Janowski at home.

I have 3 kickers because I was trying to figure out someone to take over for Akers since he's been so bad this year. They say there's gonna be some pretty ugly weather in Oakland so that's why I'm leaning towards Walsh. Unfortunately, my WR depth took a hit last week when Desean Jackson got hurt for the year. I could always pick up some guys but there's not anyone who is worthy of starting. The league I'm in is a 1k entry fee so everyone is pretty on top of their game which means there's not many good players sitting around in FA (Kendall Wright, Golden Tate, Donald Jones, Brandon Gibson are the top 4 FA WRs).

Anyway, just a bad time for these RBs to come to back as Bush, Reece, Demarco/Felix all will most likely be splitting time with other backs. Will definitely keep an eye on the RB injury updates. Thanks for the response Roy.

yeah having 3 kickers is fukkkin crazy...murrary is suppose to play this week and i think u have to play him instead of reece..mcfadden is gonna be back and he will take away some of the carries...i would sit reece and start murrary...and drop a fukkkin kicker or 2

You only need one kicker, your wasting roster space by having three. I'd go with Murray over Reece. According to the reports, Oakland is going to try to "ease" McFadden back in. I wouldn't trust reports. They said the same thing for MJD and AP when they first came back, and they carried the ball 20 times.

I'm starting Murray over McFadden and Knowshon this week. All signs point to him playing, the biggest risk with Murray is that he plays in the Sunday Night game. But I read today that he was doing video interviews with NBC, which indicates that he'll play. The Eagles defense is so poor, that even on a limited role, Murray should be able to do some damage.

Haha, my kickers get no love. Alright I took your guys' advice and picked up WR Chris Givens and WR Jarius Wright and dropped Akers and D Jax. I think I'm gonna have to go with Freeman despite Fitzpatrick going against a worse D. So it really comes down to the following now:

Need to pick 2: Demarco Murray, Marcel Reece, Justin Blackmon, Reggie Bush, Chris Givens, Jarius Wright.

I keep flip flopping between Murray, Reece, and Blackmon but think Wright might have some strong value as well with Harvin out and Minny going against GB (will most likely be playing from behind which means lots of passing). Anyway, thanks again everyone for your responses. All the feedback is really helping me figure all this out. Anymore insight would be great. Good luck in your leagues!

I think I'd go with Felix or Murray (if he plays) this week over Reece, or based on your last post I'd go with Murray/Blackmon.

i personally like freeman over fitz...he will have to throw to keep up with manning. i think the bills will want to focus more on a running attack against the jags terrible run D...spiller should have a big workload...its a tough call with your RBs...im just not sure i want to trust murray yet, he still needs to show me something before i play him. you would think reggie bush would be a good play in a PPR league but this year he just hasnt gotten it done...reece might be the best option, only because i think its a smokescreen with DMC, i think he either wont play, or wont play much. thats all speculation though. good luck with whatever you decide

Man, hearing good arguments from both sides with the RB situation. Reece definitely has some upside since this is a PPR league, and he catches a lot of balls out of the backfield, but who knows how many carries McFadden and Goodson will take away...if both even play. Murray going up against a worse D and Felix is hurt as well, but who knows how healthy Murray is now. I'll probably just wait til tomorrow before I make a final decision for the last RB spot since both RBs play in later games.

QB UPDATE: Just picked up Henne in my league, and I'm planning on starting him over Freeman and Fitz. Which QB would you guys start between those 3 QB's?

Thanks Stash...by the way, I made a last second switch with Freeman for Henne after seeing the bad weather report in Buffalo. Hopefully it pays off. Right now looks like Fitzpatrick was prolly the way to go. Blackmon needs to get some catches here or I'm in trouble though.
