    Smart trade or retarded trade?
Worked a three team trade today.. to spare the details, this is how it ended up (1/2 ppr league)..

    I got:

    Lynch
    Nicks
    Sid Rice

    I gave:

    Mathews
    Antonio Brown
    Demaryus Thomas
    Pitt D

I had some depth to work with, which is why I made the trade..

    Starting lineup now:
    Ryan
    Mccoy
    Lynch
    Marshall
    Andre Johnson
Nicks (if he ever gets healthy)
    Pitta/Olsen

Bench is basically shit now with really only Leshoure and Sid Rice who sucks..

Did I give up too much for Lynch and an injured Nicks? Guess it could work out if nicks ever stops being a vagina..

looks terrible right now you got 3 injury risks, Nicks isn't close to coming back Rice may never be right again and Lynch gets hurt more than his fair share.

Dumb for you right now like Empire said. You got 2 guys who are beat up for 3 guys who should be productive.

I don't like the deal for you. I don't think Nicks will ever be healthy this season. If he ever does get healthy, he'll have to sit out for weeks. Lynch is definitely a stud, and a top 7 RB, but you gave up too much. Antonio and Demaryius are good WR's. Straight up, I'd rather have either Antonio or Demaryius over Nicks. Nicks is a stud, but he's going to miss a lot of time this season.

im not sure i would have done the trade, but its not as bad as everyone is saying IMO....if you couldve kept d thomas it wouldve been better for you, only because nicks is a pussy...but think about this, you have 2 of the top 5 rushers basically in lynch and mccoy, you got the top qb right now in ryan, and u STILL have brandon marshall AND andre johnson...how many damn teams in your league?? lol i would kill for a lineup like that even if you have to start some random guy each week until nicks is healthy, you still have 2 elite wideouts, 2 elite RBs, and an elite QB

the more i think about this trade the more i like it for you, although its tougher if you start 3WR and a flex

            ryan
            lynch/mccoy
            b marshall/a johnson
            nicks

and you have leshoure on the bench who is far from terrible...yeah you are gonna be fine

yea... its a 12 team auction league (only $50 buyin)... but its actually normally pretty compeitive.. I just got lucky getting some great value and depth out of the draft, and have been able to work some ok trades thusfar..

i made the trade hoping that this guy is right: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...ootball-owners

I just considered lynch a nice upgrade over matthews, who seems to be a gamble every week... I had the choice to stick with thomas over nicks, but I chose nicks just bc I can play leshoure for the short time (hopefully) that nicks is hurt, and just hoping that nicks will be that much better late in the season then thomas will be..

So we'll see....gonna be starting a complete dud this week though with nicks out and leshoure on bye..

I don't think it's that bad of a trade, but who is your starting defense now? Unloading Mathews was smart, and I like the addition of Lynch. Dude is a boss and Nicks will be great when he gets healthy. Rice blows but oh well, you still have other great receivers that you can start every week.

normally any time i hear someone say "should i trade for foster" the answer is an automatic yes, but in this case im hesitant. the thing is, foster is good, but he will not be able to cover 2 spots every week. you will have to start a scrub every single week. at least when nicks gets healthy you get him back and have a top option in every spot. i think mccoy and lynch are more than enough for what you need as RBs in a 12 man league. i would kill for those 2 RBs in my league (my 2 starters are benson and benjarvus, but my WRs are marshall/andre j/mike wallace/miles austin) so to answer, no i wouldnt do it

thats my thoughts exacyly... rice was basically a throw in who i will probably release this week for a guy like hartline or roberts when we have our silent bid on saturday..

i have seattle as my D now, but will probably play matchups with some of the others on the waiver wire

i agree... i canceled my offer for now..

wow you need to make some moves with all those wide recievers! can you hold onto two of them, and then trade a mixture of your two rbs and two of the other wrs for a stud rb with a team that has some holes that need to be filled?
