Trade Question... Should I get Foster?

This is a 1/2 ppr league... You have to start 1 rb and 2 wr.. and then we have 2 flex spots.

I have:

RBs: Mccoy, Matthews, Lehsoure

WRs: Marshall, Andre, D. Thomas, Antonio Brown


I am being offered:

Foster + Tate

for

Matthews, Brown, Leshoure


Should I do it?

Im know I would be giving up a ton... but wow, this would be my new starting lineup..

yeah i agree, that is a stacked lineup having mccoy AND foster...im not sure yet on leshoure, had a good week but it remains to be seen how well he does going forward (and he needs to stay healthy) plus you will get tate who is a solid backup if foster goes down...the fact alone that you have andre j, mccoy, foster, and b marshall basically gives you an elite talent at all spots....how are you set up for the bye weeks? i still think i'd make the trade

Do that in a heartbeat. Foster is handsdown the best RB in the NFL. Pair him with Shady, and you have 2 of the top 3 fantasy RB's.

yea I think I have to... Id have no depth.. but I dont think I can pass up mccoy/foster to go along with andre johnson, marshall and Dthomas

No question its a 10 team

I would do the trade also. TT vetos for cheating or collusion. Guys trading Foster for some depth. Got no problem with it

Its actually a 12 team league (only $50 buyin)...

It was an auction league and I based my whole draft on value.. Got lucky on a few guys like Leshoure, Pitta and Amendola, and even Dthomas... So now just wheeling and dealing.. A guy traded me Andre Johnson after week two for Djax and BGE haha... and then today traded Roddy, Amendola, Charles and Mendy for Mccoy and Brown..

Other then that, the rest of the players were through the draft..

Actually some decent players in this league.. just got lucky with a few guys..

Unfortunately my efforts for Foster and Rice havent worked out... I offered Matthews, Leshoure and Brown for either..


Thinking about going for Calvin..... Do you think Dthomas, Leshoure and Antonio Brown would be too much to give away for Brown?

you are probably right... i personally hate having depth wasted on my bench... anyone else worth going for other then rice or foster? id love to upgrade to a more steady rb then matthews.. and use him, brown and leshoure to get me someone..

guess i cant give these guys away... i tried matthews, brown and leshoure for Rice or Foster....Dthomas, Brown and Leshoure for Calvin... and pitta, olsen, brown and leshoure for gronk or graham....

and cant make it happen... oh well, guess ill have to let them rot on the bench for a few weeks

We had talked about it and he was all for it until he saw Brown and Leshoure's upcoming bye weeks... He is 1-2 with tough matchups this week and next. Im working on trying to throw in Dthomas instead of Brown.. I dont really wanna throw in Marshall or AJ instead of Brown, but if I have to, I wonder if it would be worth it?

Hmmm Demaryius and Brown are a wash, pretty equal in my opinion. I think if you throw in AJ or Marshall your giving up way too much. As a Marshall owner myself, I'm loving his upcoming schedule.

yea i know what you mean.. i unfortunately just traded marshall in a different league.. traded marshall, turner, schaub and pitta for Ray Rice.. I am starting Rice, AP, DMC, Antonio Brown and Brandon Llyod every week now (with Bennett at TE)... i didnt like turner and didnt need schaub, so i figured it was worth it.. lost depth (and marshall who i love) but love having a guy of rices caliber

Yeah I hate Turner. Hate his running style. He needs massive holes in the Oline to be productive. He is only worth starting against weak opponents.

After week 1 it looked like Marshall could finish as a top 3 WR in fantasy, but he has tailed off since then. I still think he finishes as a top 10 WR, but the Chicago offense needs to figure certain things out, mainly their O-line. Right now Chicago's offensive line and Dallas' offensive line are killing two of my guys (Marshall and DeMarco).
