Pags, congrats on another strong week!

I had a question for you if you have a minute.

How do you rate the strength of your plays? In other words, how do you decide which leans get upgraded to plays? I've been assessing my young capping career and I'm finding that this is my weakness.

Again today, I went 3 - 4 on my 7 plays, but the leans that I had thrown out went 8 - 3! Needless to say playing 20 games a week is not the way to go. But I know I'm a solid handicapper, I just for the life of me can't assess the strength of my plays.

Do you have any advice on this? Do you have certain criteria that you use?

thanks for your question...yeah, I don't mind sharing with you my process for picking plays...I write down all games and make my own lines for the games...then I talk with several of my associates and go over the lines they have made for the game...what I try to do first is eliminate the games I know I won't be playing and then sifting through the plays I'm interested in...I try to create an "A" and a "B" list and then start researching those games...then I wait for the LVSC lines to come out on Sunday afternoon and give the games further looks...I guess ultimately what it comes down to is just trusting your gut...my philosophy is that I want my leans to come in, whereas some people root against their leans...what's funny is that some weeks your leans come in and your regular plays don't do so well and other weeks your regular plays do well and your leans don't and then some weeks both your regular plays and leans do well and even sometimes your regular plays and leans do poorly...hope this all makes sense...
