Boise St. -7

I have San Jose St. Boise seems to have trouble with this team for the past couple of years. Also, the primetime reasoning: Weeknight national game and home dog. The home dogs Have covered almost everyweek.

TAB, to be honest that's not really a smart bet. Fine, bet SU, but not every quarter. I like Boise St. but even if they lose or dont cover, they will out score SU in some of the quarters. Instead, put more money on SU ML to win more money. But betting Quarter and Half is not smart to me.

These mid-major teams always let me down when I pick the favorite to cover. So, I would go the other way with San Jose St.

It's interesting to see how many people are on SJSU. What kind of offensive output has SJSU done? Let's look into SJSU last 3 games, all of which were against conference opponents.

Last wk vs a sorry New Mex St team......151 yards rush, 50!!!! yards passing. gave up 284 total yards with 259 of it passing yards....against New Mex St now....

Game before that, played an even sorrier Utah St team........87 yards rush, and 314 passing. These are stats you'd expect to see against a weak team......one thing caught my eye, only 87 yards rush. When coming into that game Utah St was giving up more than 190 ypgame?! And SJSU only puts up 87 yards. Granted they threw it for 314 yards, but interesting they couldn't crack the 100 yard mark against a team giving up that much yards on the ground.

Game prior to Utah St was @ Hawaii. Hawaii outgained SJSU in rush and passing, SJSU def gave up 356 yards total offense to a team with no qb.

Point i'm making is this...........Why take SJSU? This is the first decent defense SJSU will see this year. And I really don't think they'll be able to move the ball effectively. In another post, I said Boise St will score early and often forcing SJSU to pass to catch up, once they do that, Boise's D-line will get to the SJSU qb. SJSU will be in 3rd and long situations thus killing any chance for SJSU to sustain drives and momentum. It's going to be a long day for SJSU.

it's BCS time........thats why........only football game on TV. voters are watching, in the next 2 weeks a lot of ranked teams higher than Boise St will play thus pushing them up the rankings. All they have to do is win and win big. I'd rather bet the over on this game, then to sit there and hope for turnovers (which can still produce points) and hoping both teams run the ball to deflate the clock.

Scoping out the early games........i only like 2 games, Northwestern and C. Michigan......need to delve deeper into the past games and look at the matchups......another note.......weather is looking terrible from the plains to the east coast, see a lot of forecasts with rain in them
