Louisville vs Uconn

I really, really like this play. Louisville looked very good against WV, although WVs idiot coach helped them out quite a bit. But they started to look like the Louisville of old, but with a better defense. I am not sold on UConn.

I also like the under, but I think playing under in college football is very risky and I really pick my spots...

I like UConn a little...... but this is a tough game with plenty of unknowns.

Under is the play on the total but Louisville should handle UConn. First half under would be the best bet for the total, because Louisville's got a great run defense but not enough depth

I agree with the Under, Uconn is a running team which will kill a lot of clock. Louisville is not high flying either. Louisville was ranked last year and pretty good, uconn is still rebuilding. I am looking at Louisville -3.5 and under (plus wind and rain).

No respect for UConn.

UConn was ranked last year, Louisville wasn't. UConn was co Big-East champion with WV. Louisville was crap despite having a star QB (no defense).

Don't know about this year. UConn seems about the same as last year. Haven't seen Louisville play.

If i'm not mistaken it's supposed to be 65 degrees tonight for this game. NO RAIN! I wouldn't listen to this guy.

wind and rain doesnt matter, UConn will struggle to get in the 20's against Louisville's defense

I am leaning toward Louisville on this one myself...the line will probably get up to -4 or -5 by game time but I would take them even at that.

Watching UConn play....that offense is very vanilla. They are not going to put up a lot of points. UConn has played some really weak competition and struggled a couple times already.

Their luck has to run out eventually...

That Kid at Louisville, Cantwell, seems to finally found his stride. Scoring 38 and 51 respectively in their last two games.

dbrown-avg 179 ypg rushing, dont think he'll get more than 125 tonite
lorenzen- 129 ypg passing, 1 td, 6 int really bad so far, gotta improve on this tonite, he will also run for 50 yards himself
no star receivers
boring grind it out offense, not much big play capability
good defense, lots of sacks and ints

louisville
cantwell-209 ypg passing, should get this plus some tonite, though might get picked a couple times and sacked some
balanced rushing attack with v.anderson and bolen, compliments pass game well
good receivers in beaumont and chichester
defense is also good

home field edge-louisville

uconn will have a tough time if they fall behind on the road. they need their defense to set up ez scores

I've been to every Uconn home game this year. Donald Brown can run the ball, watch out here....think he was Big East player of the week like a week ago.

Lorenzen might be the weakness for them. This kid doesn't go deep often, won't throw interceptions, plays careful.

If Uconn wins they will beat them at the run.......

The more I think about this game (and I am probably over thinking it) the more I don't like it. I think the play would be small on Louisville if anything.

That being said, I am going to stay away all together tonight and get ready for tomorrow.

GL everyone else that does end up playing though.

UConn allowed Baylor to pass all over the place, one would think Louisville would take advantage of this. Also UConn's strength is the run which Louisville has been very successful against.

If Louisville doesn't make mental mistakes and drop passes like in the Kentucky game, then they should win by 10 or more. Louisville having played against a decent physical SEC defense should have them ready to play against UConn. Although I'm not positive it won't take them a half to get set on D. I don't like UConn under 12 in the first half. It might be ok but I would stay away from it!
