Boise St to win BCS NC +1700
This one to me has the best value of all the BCS futures. Boise St has been a competitor in the BCS and have been denied a trip to to the big game because of their weak schedule. I think this year is their year. They have arguably the best QB in college football. I am wondering why I see heisman odds listed and his name is not in the mix. I think they will be one of only a couple of teams that may make it undefeated this year.

I think it will be a miracle if an SEC team goes undefeated this year, but I do think that a 1 or 2 loss SEC champion could make the trip to BCSNC, depending on at what point in the season they took their losses.

But, in terms of value, I think Boise has the best payout here, considering their performances over the last five years.

No argument here. A win against Georgia should set them up nicely, especially with a schedule that sees them playing Nevada, Air Force, and TCU at home. The one game that they must not overlook is their trip to Toledo. This is the next game after the UGA game. Toledo is favored by many to win the MAC. They have 17 starters returning from a 8-5 team in 2010. The good news for Boise is that they have a bye week in-between those two games. Boise also has a very soft game at home against New Mexico to end the season, on December 3rd, the same day that many of the Conference Championship games will be played, and other games, such as Oklahoma-Oklahoma State.

I played 50 on Arkansas. The way I see it this is the best D they have had in years and the offense is just as loaded even without Mallett.

The schedule kills Arkansas. They play both Alabama and LSU on the road, plus their little annual trip to Jerryworld to play Texas A&M. They also get LSU right after their game against Miss. State. That is a very tough road to navagate.

Boise State lost 11 starters off last year's team. Most of these players had been starters for two and three years. Moore lost his two favorite receivers in Austin Pettis and Titus Young (142 catches and 19 TDs last year). Jeron Johnson on defense is gone (led the team in tackles last 3 years). This team has some huge holes to fill coming into 2011 season. I can see them losing three games. For sure Georgia.

I agree on the ark having a tough road. Like any other year, every team has a tough road winning the SEC conference, which is the key to getting to the big game.
Big daddy do you know where we find futures for overs/unders on team's wins/losses?
That would be the only future bet that I would have anything to do with Arky.

Ga could definitely ruin Boise's season. I agree WH, if boise loses even 1 game they are fukked.

On another note, Ga lost its last season opener that was versus a decent team 2009 (ok st)

They also lost 4 of their first 5 games last season. One of those games was to colorado, who was dominated by cal, mizzou, baylor, nebraska, and oklahoma.

It will be an interesting game, and I think within 3 points, but I expect GA to come out slow and boise to slide by.

CCI...will be a bonus game in the Opening Week Contest. Worth some good bucks to you if you win the thing. Give this game some good thought my friend. (Boise State vs Georgia)

I still think it will take a weird year (i.e 2007 LSU) for a mid-major to get into the MNC game.

With that said, anything is possible. If you feel like this is a down year for the majors, I can see how there is value in this bet.

Dib, you are in the contest and can win $500. This game will be key to many in the contest. It will be a bonus play along with another I won't mention at this time.

I think right now on this board, I'm the only SOB who thinks Georgia wins. That's the fun...they have to play the game to see.

I think Georgia steam rolls them in this game. I feel like it will play out like when Georgia played Hawaii in their BCS game.

Alabama and Lsu are both beatable. Not saying it will happen, but it can.
