Pretty good value here imo... should be closer to +6000 or +7000 instead of +12500. Tyler Bray is arguably one of the best QB's in the sec for '11. The defense is solid too especially with Wagner and Jackson. LSU at home then Bama on the road is brutal. But with LSU having a new OC and Bama losing a lot to the draft, it's not impossible. If they make it past Florida who should be going through growing pains with a new coach then they could make a run for the East. With a few breaks, who knows?

Was answering your question, the 10 years part was a typo but the records are correct. No way are they competing for a national title next year. Competing for an SEC East title may even be a stretch but this past freshmen class has been as impressive as any I have seen watching the Vols. Dooley may have something going in the next few years, control of the East is up for grabs.

Tennessee's DEFENSE is young, small and slow. The Vols will have their hands full just competing in the SEC much less playing for national honors.

3 for the SEC I like are: South Carolina (+3000), Mississippi St.(+6000), and Georgia (+5000)

Tennessee will be better this year, but they won't even realistically compete for the East with SC, UGA, and Fla.....But hey, if you're a Vols fan I'd throw a few bucks on it. I always like to throw a few bucks on my teams to win it all just for fun.

yeah..... like i said in my original post, this should have been +6000 or +7000 (where it is now) when i bet it at +12500. i do think they'll beat florida and have a legit shot to knock off uga too.

you're right though.... he laid an egg in the spring game. i think in the fall we'll see some 400 yard/4 td games mixed in with 125 yard/4int games.

I suspect it was a fluke result in the spring game. It was hard not to like what you saw from Bray last year if you were a Vols fan and I think that has to hold more weight than the spring game effort.

Tennessee isn't good. This bet is like betting on the Warriors to win it all next season in the NBA. It's a juicy line because it has no chance of cashing. Casinos just use these bets to send their employees on holiday all year. Bet on one of those Non AQ schools with soft schedules to win it all. U have a better chance of them not ending up with 5 losses at least. Tennessee will lose to Florida like they always do, and then they will get murdered by LSU and bama. They will probably lose to Arkansas and South Carolina too.
