Delaware's defense is really good, perhaps the best in FCS. even though it's a low number, i don't have a lot of confidence in the over, as UD could potentially hold almost any offense to around 10 points when they're on (this year, they have 2 shutouts, held 4 teams to single digits, held 6 more teams between 10-20, and only two teams have scored more than 20 (27 being the highest)). they've had a lot of time to prepare for this game too. if anything, i'd lean UD -9', but i'm passing. BOL to you whatever you decide.Comment -

E. Washington looked awfully impressive the whole playoff season. They are an offensive scoring machine. If this game was played on a neutral field, I would be all over them ML. As it is....a small play on E Wash plus the points.Comment -
Like Eastern to win this one. Delaware isn't nothing special with a loss earlier to Villanova. Eastern pretty much had there way with Villanova. Look for Eastern's qb to have a big day coming back home to play in front of family and friends.Comment -
Kind of surprised that EW is catching almost double digits here. They are ranked #1 in the polls and just make Villanova's defense look silly by hanging 41 on them. Delaware is a great team with a great defense, explaining the low total...but both QB have thrown for 3,000 yards (or close) and combined for 56 TDs and only 16 INTs (2 by Delaware QB).
Delaware should be able to hang 30 on EW..I'm assuming EW can score a couple times and get us close to this number, especially if they're gunslinging and losing.

I really like Delaware laying the points tonight. They have the best secondary in FCS and Bo Levi Mitchell throws a really ugly lofting ball. They should get multiple picks off him. Devlin for Delaware is a stud who should carve up Eastern secondary, they give up a ton of yards. Also Delaware has been great on the road blowing multiple good teams out, while Eastern away from the red turf has been very mediocre.
One other note, Delaware is bringing 4-5k people to the game while Eastern is bringing about 1.5k.Comment -

Delaware blowing teams out on the road huh? Beat James Madison by 3 lost to William and Mary on the road. But did beat up on Umass and Richmond. Like Eastern they have been playing home games in the playoffs. I took Eastern Money line. But 9.5 half is way to much to lay against Eastern. Common opponent is Villanova. Delaware lost to them by 7 at home. Eastern beat Villanova by 10 and it wasn't even that close of a game till the end.

How did that score comparison work in the semifinals? William and Mary beat Delaware and were crushed by Ga Southern. Delaware beats Ga Southern by 17. Look for more of the same with your stupid scoring comparisons!
