I think this game is very simple----Miami is simply the better team--and the under looks interesting as well---Miami has only had one game go over 49 the entire season--while mid tenn seems to score a lot--i say Miami +110 and the under -110 bet seperate

Stats I've found for 2010 season. MiamiO is 2-11 on the Over/Under and MTSU is 2-8-1 on the Over/Under. So out of 24 games between both teams this season the total went over only 4 times with one push. Going with the Under

On paper Miami looks like the better team, but wait lets break this game down.

Miami Ohio will be led by interim coach Lance Guidry, Ex- DB coach with very little head coaching experience. He coach HS football in the early 2000s and coached on defense with McNeese St. I really think Carl Reese was the better pick with his experience as an understudy of Mack Brown (1998 - 2003). They have had two weeks to prepare, sure Guidry has a lot of motivation to do well here, he is still looking for a job after he was suppose to go with Hayward to Pittsburgh. Supposely winning this game will look very good when new Miami Ohio coach, Treadwell interviews Guidry on Saturday.

Middle Tennessee St on the other hand underachieved this season. They were the heavy favorite to win there division and HC Rick Stockstill has made alot of changes in the off season. He hired Mike Schultz (canned by Ron Zook of Illinois last year) but was very successful offensive coach with TCU, coached L. Tomlinson. Defensive Coodinator Randall McCray has defensive ties with Wisconsin so this a well coached group.

Dwight Dasher is arguably the Blue Raiders best player, suspended for the first 4 games for stealing $1500. I really think Dasher is starting to come around as it usually takes a few games to learn under a coordinator. I think Ohio has just too much to overcome with interim coach and freshman QB
