One man's opinion...............
In the past decade or so, three schools have proven themselves as problems for those who like the Bowl Championship Series...Utah, Texas Christian and Boise State. All three have posted undefeated seasons during that span, which spurred their supporters to scream loud and long about not receiving a spot in the BCS National Championship Game. Utah did something about it by joining the Pac-12 Conference in time for the 2011 season. TCU did something about it by announcing Monday it will join the Big East in 2012. Both showed they're willing to step into power conferences and play significantly better schedules. What about Boise State? The Broncos announced this summer they'll leave the mid-major Western Athletic Conference and join the slighty better than mid-major Mountain West Conference, which TCU just abandoned. So when does Boise step up and play big-boy football? Or would the Broncos rather continue beating up on an inferior schedule and complain about not getting enough respect?
