When does Boise State step Up
    One man's opinion...............

In the past decade or so, three schools have proven themselves as problems for those who like the Bowl Championship Series...Utah, Texas Christian and Boise State. All three have posted undefeated seasons during that span, which spurred their supporters to scream loud and long about not receiving a spot in the BCS National Championship Game. Utah did something about it by joining the Pac-12 Conference in time for the 2011 season. TCU did something about it by announcing Monday it will join the Big East in 2012. Both showed they're willing to step into power conferences and play significantly better schedules. What about Boise State? The Broncos announced this summer they'll leave the mid-major Western Athletic Conference and join the slighty better than mid-major Mountain West Conference, which TCU just abandoned. So when does Boise step up and play big-boy football? Or would the Broncos rather continue beating up on an inferior schedule and complain about not getting enough respect?

    Your comments are welcome.

Boise thought they were stepping up. When they agreed to join the Mountain West Utah, BYU, and TCU were still in it. Now the Mountain West might as well recombine with the WAC again. If anything this move might hurt Boise State because now their games will be exiled to CBS College Sports because of the Mountain West's abortion of a tv deal.

What conference is really looking to add the Key Boise demographic to their conference? I don't see how Boise State has much of an option. IF the big 12 would take them I think they'd jump at it but that offer isn't going to happen.

100% agree... Boise did not have the "academics" nor the other sports teams to compete in the PAC 12 (according to all the PAC 12 schools).... Boise brings nothing but a good football program and an average basketball program...

I am shocked that BIG 12 never asked TCU but they already have the Texas market with A&M and Texas...
