Stanford wouldn't last 2 seconds in the SEC! Week in and Week out, no way Andrew Luck is QBing after the 3rd Game because he would get his but knocked down too many times by the defenses in the SEC. There is NO DEFENSE in the Pac(Gay) 10. I could be a good QB in the Pac 10. Matt Leinhart looked great against the Pac 10 defenses, that ought to tell you something.

Have to agree i think Stanford would beat Auburn. Watched that game vs Oregon Stanford jumped out to a 18 point lead. Course Oregon came back big on them. Think Oregon will have there way with Auburn also Ducks have a better defense. And offense have to give the Ducks an edge there also.

Agree i mean Stanford was blowing out Oregon on there home turf. Yes Oregon came back but if Stanford played Oregon on neutral turf or at home probably be a whole different ball game. Especially the way Stanford played at the end of the season. Stanfords defense is probably better then both Oregon and Auburn right now with a offense that ranks right up there also.

Why would we need Stanford in a playoff? They lost to Oregon, who went undefeated. There is no way they deserve to be ahead of Oregon or Auburn.

If we go to 4 teams, it just creates more problems. If you're just trying to get the best teams into a playoff, do we put in 9-3 Alabama? They are capabale of beating anyone.

With that in mind Auburn wins be double digits vs Oregon. Oregon has never faced a QB like Cam and will be confused all game. Auburn has a better D than Oregon. Oregon almost choke against WSU and CAL...

Woulda loved to see tcu and stanford play. After seeing the way they handled wisconsin's size advantage, think thats a great game! Two really disciplined teams with good defenses and good qb play

Playoffs would be fantastic. That's the only way to truly determine the national champion... However, greedy BCS would never let it happen... Hopefully, ESPN can lobby for at least +1 format where if we do have two perfect teams at the end of BCS Bowl games than they get to play each other one more final game to determine true champion... TCU could and can win against either Auburn/Oregon with their fast and discipline Defense.... My 2 cents...
