Just a heads up here boys, Miami's QB is out tonight, in what would have looked like an pretty easily -10 lock against the winless Zips.

Havent made my play yet, will post when I do. Still early lean is on Miami however. Im curious to see where the spread goes..

damn. any idea how their backup is? i liked miami ohio, and definitely will not put my money behind a winless team, so maybe this is a pass. its just a matter of figuring out if akron will either be motivated to finally win, or if they lay down and have just given up.

Miami has only rushed for 720 yards in 10 games, averaging 2.4 yards per carry so im skeptical. Akron nearly beat a decent Ball State team last time out, are they improving or do they pack it in after the ovetime loss?

I think it's going to come down to Boucher. If he can fill Dysert's shoes Miami should still be fine, but he has seen very limited action this year. FWIW, Miami team total set at 28 and Akron has given up 28 or more in every game this season.

I agree AB has filled in great for ZD with great #'s to back it, lets be serious a High School QB could make Akrons D look bad. No direspect to ZD but he wont be missed here as AB is a pretty solid QB.

I look for the zipp's to finally get it together and keep it close and maybe win their first.
Motivation after loosing to Ball St. in double overtime and scoring the most points in any game played this year I think if any better time to win is now.
