Ags lost 38-35 @Okie St. on a thurs night game, with 5 turnovers, gave up 350 yds

Baylor lost by 30, gave up 720 yds, aggies held OU to 19 points and 3.5 yds per play for 105 plays

They will not be flat. They are finally playing to their potential due to a much need QB change. The Aggies seem like a whole new team ever since Tannehill took over. It makes you wonder what their record would be if he started all season. They will roll over this hyped Baylor team. No one gave Baylor respect til they beat Texas. Well guess what 4 other teams have already beaten Texas also. Not that great of an accomplishment. Aggies by at least 2 TDs even on the road here.

Wacko is a 90 minute drive from College Station, since the beginning of time, Aggies have outnumbered Baylor fans in Wacko 2-1. It may be closer to 50-50, but there will be no home field advantage for the Bears.

Tannehill will not be stopped, and the Ags are probably looking at an 8-1 record if he was starting since the Okie St game. This IS BAYLOR we're talking about, and there will be no letdown by this Aggie team.

I wouldn't say the over is a guarantee. This over does look nice but I really can see an under happening in this game. I expect AtM's defense to show up and hold the bears to a max of 17 pt. Atm will probably score around 35. Im not saying the over will be wrong. Im just going to stick with taking Atm to cover the spread on this game.

I like the Aggies here, but one thing to consider...every single time over the last 15 years when they seem to be turning the corner they fall flat on their face. I mean big time face plant, over and over. Hell, take the law of averages if anything, surely it can't last forever. You are talking about a program that has ONE bowl win in the last quarter century but the OP mentions this is JUST Baylor...what studs.

Haha. I'm going to go ahead and say the people betting on Baylor are either Baylor fans or have not actually watched these two teams this season and are just jumping on the Baylor bandwagon. BAYLOR BEAT TEXAS... WOW. Texas ATM BEAT OU. And have a new QB that finally can execute the talent on their offense. They have the most explosive offense in the BIG 12 easily. Even without Christine Michael who is amazing too. Baylors defense is awful. And Texas ATM has a better than decent D. If you think Baylor has an edge because of Griffin, thats not accurate. Von Miller and the AtM line have proved the run is no problem for them. Baylor beat CU the worst team in the BIG 12 by a mere 6 and lost TX TECH who ATM destroyed. -3 is more than generous on ATM. Also there is NO home field advantage. At the least there will be 40% AtM fans at the game. If ATM was favored by 10 I would still take them. Dont mean to offend anyone here, but if both teams show up ATM will roll over Baylor. I know both teams don't always show up though. Thats why its gambling haha but on any given day AtM, 95 out of 100 times would beat this mediocre Baylor team.

As an Aggie, I know better than anyone how we have done the one step forward, two steps back routine. However, none of those teams had solid foundations such as a running game or defense. This year's team has both. If you can run the ball and get your defense off the field, you have a chance to win. We shut down OU's spread type passing game (throws to the flats). Baylor has a similar type spread passing game. The variable is how much they choose to let Griffin run at QB. He has stayed in the pocket much more this year.

Bottom line for me is that Baylor has played three top 40 teams (Rice,Tech, and Okla St) and they have lost to all of them - two of them badly. A&M has played a tougher schedule (Arkansas, Okla St, Mizzou, Tech, & OU) and won 2 of the 5.
