11/5 Here We Go! Good Luck
    UCF -2 vs Houston

UCF is one of if not the best teams in the Nation right now at covering ATS. They are 7-1 ATS and 4 of their last 5 have went over. I really like the balance that this team finally has. Their passing game won't blow anyone away but it's a nice compliment to the 22nd best run game in the Nation. I really like the fact that this team is seriously battled tested losing by 7 to NC State 28-21 and losing by 4 17-13 to Kansas State. Some stats on this team are below.

They are 30th in Scoring Offense 32.9 ppg, they are 61st in yards 376.5 ppg, 22nd in Rush O 199.9pg, and 92nd in Pass 176.6 pg. Now here is where they are very solid, 11th on Defense in points given up 16.5pg, 9th in total yds given up at 279.9, 13th against the rush 102.6, and 15th against the pass 177.3. Their last 3 Conference USA games they have given up 7, 14, 14.

Houston just keeps plugging QB's in their offense and they keep succeeding. Their 3rd string QB is starting and has been for a few games now. He has done well with 11TD's and only 3INT's. Now, 5 of those TD passes came against one of the worst teams in the nation in Memphis. This team can play some serious offense but really lack on defense. They are 2-3-1 ATS and 4 of 5 have went over.

They are ranked 8th in scoring O at 41.6ppg, 15th in total yds 468.6pg, 43rd in rush O 169.4, and 13th in pass O 299.3. NOW, on D they are 80th in points given up at 28.0pg (including over 20 in CUSA), 79th in total yds given up, 98th in Rush D, and 37th in Pass D 196.9.

The only common opponent so far is RICE. UCF beat Rice 41-14 and Houston beat them 34-31.

I think the battled tested team goes on the road and wins this game. This will be the 2nd year in a row that UCF beats Houston. BOL to all

    ELITE 8 (records ATS)

    1. Hawaii (8-1) That’s now 6 covers in a row for the ‘Bows. Heading into November, Bryant Moniz is our player of the year

    2. Central Florida (7-1) Making a compelling case for the top spot with 7 consecutive covers, including 4 Overs

    3. Oregon State (6-1) Mike with a convincing victory in the battle of the Rileys, and we’re rewarding the Beavers for backing up our prediction

    4. Utah (6-1-1) The last unbeaten goes down, but with a victory on the field, all is not lost.

    5. Oregon (6-2) These guys show up on the national stage more so than any team in 2010

    6. Auburn (6-3) 5-1 ATS in the SEC, the leading Heisman candidate and #1 in the BCS. Even with 3 losses ATS they need to be on this list.

    7. Virginia Tech (6-2) Bye week keeps them idle, but the toughest stretch is about to begin

    8. Syracuse (6-2) You read that right; Orange have covered 5 of 6 including 3 money lines. We see you now, Doug Marrone.

WMU +3.5 vs CMU (neutral field)

WMU 2-2-2 ATS 5 out of last 6 on the road has went OVER.

They are 47th in scoring at 30.3ppg, 52nd in total yds 390.5ypg, 112th in rush O 91.8ypg, and 14th in Pass O 298.8ypg. On D they are 75th in points against at 27.5ppg, 65th in total yds 370.4, 84th in Rush D 169.1ypg, and 46th in Pass D 201.3. This team has lost 4 in a row to this CMU team and they are in a great position to beat this team for the first time in the last few years.

CMU 0-5 ATS last 5 and 4 out of 5 have went over

They are 92nd in scoring offense at 22.1ppg, 58th in total yds 380.4ypg, 98th in rush O 114.7, and 27th in Pass O 265.8. On D they are 55th in scoring D 23.3ppg, 55th in total yds given up 256.ypg, 67th in rush D 153.8ypg, and 49th in Pass D 202.7. This team is struggling bad right now but I think the book makers for the most part still considerate this team the favorite bc of their recent domination record wise in this series.

Recent common opponents between the two this year:

WMU lost to NIU 28-21 and CMU lost to NIU by 26

WMU beat Ball State 45-16 and CMU lost to Ball State 31-17

Good game here but I believe not only does WMU cover but I believe they win straight up.

WMU +3.5 and maybe a little action on the ML

I believe Houston actually lost to Rice 34-31.

I'm with you on UCF. They have a great Defense that is going to make life difficult for a rookie/freshman QB with only a couple of starts under his belt.

Add to that, UCF runs the ball well, another weakness of Houstons (Rush D).

              UCF should roll.

Lice UCF a lot even with the spread, going down makes it easier to take. I dont know about WMU, but they have at least pushed or won ATS 4 weeks in a row now

I was leaning UCF, but this and Barnes' solid insight makes it a definite play!

I think Houston could cover and win straight up. But, all the stats, the much better D, the 7-1 ATS mark for UCF, and a few other things all point to UCF being the correct play regardless what happens. Good Luck
