Isn't that the whole concept of a point spread? The better teams often dont cover the spread against weaker opponents. They win a lot of time straight up but they dont necessarily cover the spread. Thus, the reason that Vegas gives a line on the games. It evens the playing field as far as that goes

I think maybe Michigan State is the only one that has covered the line
I might be wrong as I think M State lost to Notre dame on the spread .
Oregon didnt cover Arizona state

You have to cover a "spread" to be perfect ATS. If you win ML then you would just say undefeated or perfect strait up. Utah may be the only one on that list that is perfect ATS but I don't remember their first two weeks so I could be wrong.
