    NCAAF Week Nine Picks
    College Football 2010-2011 Overall 22-16 +4.15 units (57.89%)
    College Football 2010-2011 2 Unit Plays 3-3 -0.60 units (50.00%)

Real tough weekend, went 1-4. I mentioned it in last week's thread that I always do poorly on the weekend before my birthday since I have started gambling. Not too sure why, but I just always have, and that stayed true this year. I knew I was in for it with that MSU loss. Was at the store when I looked up and saw what happened, brutal. LSU game I just deserved to lose. I could have won it, but Auburn outplayed LSU badly. Wisconsin game I didnt watch much of. Uconn game was bad capping. Oklahoma game I misread that Oklahoma was a semi-decent team but they looked outright bad. Tbh Mizzu didnt look that good, Oklahoma just looked that bad at times. Hopefully I can turn it around this week

    Leans for Week Nine

    NC State +3.5
    Pitt -10.5
    Iowa -6.5
    Tennessee +17.5
    Georgia -3
    Utah -7
    PSU +1.5
    USC +7

I flip on these a lot, but any insight would be appreciated.

NC State +3.5 to win 1 unit

I think Russel Wilson should have a bounce back type game after throwing 3 INT's against Eastern Carolina. NC State seems to be playing better at home. The V. Tech score is a bit misleading because I believe they were winning the game with 2 minutes to go but ended up losing by 11. FSU's QB situation really worries me. Ponder has been pretty inconsistent this year and I don't think he can throw the ball down the field. When it comes down to it, Russel Wilson may make some mistakes, but I trust him more in being able to lead his team to a victory.

      Michigan off a bye week
drop it or go the other way .
not a Michigan Backer but I really like em this week
i had Penn state last week ,
Nc state is going the other way around 5 now , but i would think FSU could cover it

Saw the NC State game was actually going down, on 5 dimes anyway. It was at 4, right when I was about to bet it, it dropped to 3.5 and still is at 3.5

Iowa -6.5 to win 1 unit

Dan Persa who threw 187 yards and an INT and rushed for 22 yards and 3 TD's almost crushed this team. Stanzi looked rough at the end of that Iowa game, other then that he had a great game and he's having a great season with 16 TD's and 2 INT's. MSU was making some crucial mistakes on there first road game out of Michigan. Back to back road games in a tougher environment, I think Iowa ends up beating MSU handily.

Agree on Iowa. MSU is undefeated but they aren't that good. Iowa covers.

Florida ML +120 to bet 1 unit

These two are pretty equal in terms of this year but the coaching does it over for me. Georgia has run threw easy competition the last 3 weeks so they look like the better team, but Florida crushed Tennessee and Kentucky in the same way earlier this season. Georgia also lost to Miss St the same way Florida did. I just have a very tough time seeing Urban Meyer losing 4 in a row. Maybe thats a bad way of looking at it though

Michigan -3 to win 1 unit

I wanted to back Joe Pa, but its clear this Penn St team just isn't very good this year at all. Bolden has more INT's then TD's. There defense is not what there used too, Illinois a couple of weeks ago doubled PSU's yardage at PSU. I'm sure this will be a white out and everything, but its hard to bet on Denard Robinson not going off, against a team thats struggling on defense.

Oregon -6.5 to win 1 unit

Oregon getting the 6.5 spread is basically what talked me into it. Oregon's offense looks really good and the problem I have is that USC's defense has looked really bad in some of these games. Lane Kiffin is known to make some critical mistakes too. I say Oregon comes away and wins by DD's at the end of the day.
