    I always like to hear why people take a certain side on a game and the usual response is I just think that they will win tonight. What is making you like the Jayhawks tonight other than they are at home?

      Well, first of all, the lines are moving in favor of the Wildcats which is a red flag in college football..especially when the Jayhawks have more average Passing Yards and Rushing defense and I don't see Wildcats pulling off the play fake. .especially since Brodrick Smith is out for a week. The Jayhawks have more injuries but this isn't going to be a running game for them anyway. Kansas has too much offense tonight and Kansas State will not be able to restart their winning streak.

        Lets take a look at Kansas for a minute;
        record 2-3 loses
        loses to N. dakota state 3-6. Yes that was the final score it is not a misprint. That game was a home game for Kansas, home opener...agree no reason for them to be up for a home, season opener.
        So. Miss by 15; not a bad loss.
        Baylor by 48, no that is not a misprint.
        Okay lets look at there wins.
        Georgia Tech by three, looked like a much bigger win till we realized that GT is not what or who we thought they were.
        New Mexico State by 26, New Mexico State is 1-4, a good high school team could give them a run for there money. There on ly win is against New Mexico last week by three.
        I am a firm believer in numbers and you just cant hit a light switch because it is a big game and all of a sudden be a good team. If you take away the Nebraska game which K state got blown away on Paper K State dominates this game. Kansas is in the bottom third in both total defense and offense against much weaker and inferior opponents. This game will be won on the ground and the O line for K State averages almost twenty pounds more than Kansas D line. This does not fair good for a team K State that is going to run the ball probably 80 percent of the time. Anything can happen but I will take these numbers every single time. GL tonight should be an interesting game. If your looking for a safer bet the under should probably be a better bet, with two running teams 49.5 just seems like alot.

            Another thing you might want to look at is turnover margin which Kansas is -1.00 which is T-106th in the country out of 120 teams. This is usually the difference in close games which if you are Kansas you need it to be, so holding on to the ball could be a huge statistic here

              You are absolutely correct, but these are records. There has only been 7 games and records are not projections. Plus, I'm looking for side value.

                only thing that worries me is the weird line movement, majority of the money on K St but line has gone from open at -4 to -3 ??

                    I really don't think Kansas has much of a shot tonight. The only thing they have going for them is home field advantage, but that can only go so far.
