Hi all, starting a season thread , first time I have stopped by this forum, so if this is wrong section move please. I do fairly well , just another guy who likes to try and predict the future and win a little money. Will see how the forum posting goes

I just cant see the cajuns keeping up in this game. The only chance they have is it is a sandwich game for the pokes, but I just think the talent level is way to far apart. This one gets ugly in a hurry, ala pokes vs tulsa

Angle-Horns have not lost 3 straight since 97, looking at 65% on nebraska so far,
Nebraska has not faced a team this talented yet this year, sure they play dumb football, but the talent is there, this will be a dogfight all the way. A part of me also thinks the refs will lean against nebraska all year, just saying, thats what I think and will try to make some money on it.

I will most likely add more by gameday, but by far I am not a wordsmith, just know how to beat the book

I was looking at this one too. I've been riding the Nebraska train this season...mostly because they're switching conferences next season but I think they're the real deal. Matrinez is no joke with 5 TDs last week and 241 rush yards and have a stout D allowing 20ppg in the last 10. D is 1st in the nation against the pass and 4th in scoring.

Texas has a week off to recover from the Oklahoma loss but they have no rushing to speak of and their Qb has 4TDs and 5 INTs. Think Nebraska laying the points is the play here...
