Remember when LSU kicked the shit out top 10 VT (eventual ACC champ) in 2007? The disparity in talent/level of competition between the SEC and conferences like the Big East and ACC is a joke; SEC is king, period. WVU has spot talent here and there where they may be better, but overall, LSU is far and away better.

Also, the action is now about dead even after huge line movement early, so it's not like LSU is some huge public square play. Not a good sign for WVU backers, imo.

And if you want a nice laugh, check out Stewart's record on the road last 3 years...by some miracle he pulled it out in Marshall this year, but it was quite clear he had zero control over his team and looked pathetically incompetent on the sidelines; his offense just put together some amazing drives.

Betting on a Big East team with even action, on the road in Death Valley, on a Saturday Night, with a clown like Stewart at the helm = a very bad play, imo.

Might still play LSU, would have been a fairly large play if I got it at -7.

LSU defense is underrated and going unnoticed, but West Virginia is capable of scoring which scares me. In a coin flip, I'd take LSU.

West Virginia Money Line has value here, but WVU ATS is a no-brainer. The teams are fairly equal statistically, but Mountaineers have the MUCH MUCH MUCH (as in 3 muches) better quarterback, and that will be the difference in the game,

LT I respect you and your insightful input. But I have noticed you have a dislike for LSU because of the QB play of Jordan Jefferson. I would say don't get to caught up in that or you will lose a lot of money betting against LSU solely because of Jordan.

Football is the ultimate TEAM sport.... and by far LSU has the better TEAM with SUPERIOR ATHLETES to West Virginia. I follow LSU program very close and I know I have a history of betting LSU because of being a homer but this is one time were I will bet LSU because I know this team is better than West Virginia by a mile.

I know people are down on LSU program but this team is better than the last two years. People have to remember this program while struggling the past two years was still in the top 5 nationally in recruiting. LSU is a better football team this year and I strongly believe they are the second best SEC team behing Alabama.
