WVU will cover..I got them at 13 1/2 at beginning of week thinking it would just go up but i guess i was wrong.. We just have to take advantage of our speedy backs and receivers. Marshalls secondary is rather week and I think Geno Smith will be able to exploit that and that will open up the running game for Devine and Ryan Clarke. WVU needs start to implement some of the power running game they have gotten away from since Owen Schmitt left. As far as WVU defense... this might very well be the best Defensive unit they have fielded since the 93 team in which they went undefeated. Junior College transfer Bruce Irvin is sure to give Marshall QB fits in the backfield as he is as strong as a pass rusher and a "FREAK OF NATURE" as some teamates describe as Ive seen in a long long time. I think WVU holds Marshall to under 10 points and they cruise with a comfortable 3+ TD victory
also, just to add on.. Bill Stewart might be out for blood in this game as former WVU coach and recruiter Doc Holliday tried steering away WVU recruits not necessarily to go to Marshall but to just stay away from WVU. i.e. Ivan McCartney, WVU freshman wide receiver, Doc Holliday had recruited him then after taking the Marshall HC job tried to convince McCartney to go to Miami instead
Got it at -13.5 a few days ago too. I can't see WVU losing the game, but I can see a small chance that they win by 11-14pts.

One would think that West Virginia can get their season jump started this week. They were anything but impressive last week against Coastal Carolina. 12.5 seems reasonable.

They used all base plays out of their offense last week against Coastal Carolina.. they didnt show anything. And if Tavon Austin doesnt fumble out of the endzone score would be 38-0. I dont know how you say shutting out any opponent no matter who it may be is unimpressive

i don't know i believe marshall will cover +13.5, but what do i know, just now broke even with the aub/miss st. game, i know this game means alot more to the herd/than the eers, i do know if they have a chance its this year, visited both boards and even the eers say, its the herds best year of yet...but of the four of 5 games they played the point total is like 140-40 the eers

Marshall is hot garbage. They wont score more than 14.
WVU should score 30+.....even though they are hot garbage also.
