Thanks, any input is appreciated. I'll try to write up a bit on motivations and reasoning for each play that I post.

The decision is your's, but I might make a few comments for you to think about:

-- Iowa State has lost about a week of practices due to the flooding in Iowa. May not make a difference, but practices are important. Also, Northern Illinois has a defense that is good enough to keep them in this game.

-- The stadium in Utah will be rocking the night Pitt comes into town. I think Pitt has a lot of new faces starting this season and it make take them a game or two to gel. However, I know some respected cappers that agree with you on your Pitt play. I was going to play Utah this game, but I decided to leave it alone because of that alone.

-- Kentucky looks too easy for some reason. Hard for me to warn you against this play though just because it is a rival game whenever I have a play on Colorado against Colorado St., lol.

-- I like Northwestern and am on them myself. I also like UCONN, but have not pulled the trigger on them.

Powerhaus-with you on Pitt +3.5. Anybody who likes pit get the 3.5 now cause this will be +3 or wouldnt be surprised +2.5 by game time.

SoonerBS- I am with you on the UCONN game but just waiting to see if this line moves in are favour which I'm sure it will since joe public loves Michigan ( i have heard everything from "oh uconn is gonna be amazed at the crowd since Michigan stadium holds over 105,000 and Rentschler field only holds 40k) lol

Agree 100%, Utah had a huge NFL drfat this past season, 6 starters to the NFL. That will take a toll on any team. Pitt is f***ing loaded on both sides of the ball and they have the best Running Back and best D-End in Country (imho). I'll definitely take a shot at the ML here.

Connecticut is flying under the radar this year..... they will contend for the BE title. Michigan is a joke of a program and Rich Rod will be a ghost soon enough!

Tulsa is loaded, that might be a nice play. EC will take a step back this year. GL

I don't think they'll smash Boise, they don't have the most explosive offense in the country. I can say that I do like VT in a virtual home game though! GL

The Cougars are returning 50 lettermen, their offense remains intact from last year, and they have a good D-Line this year (according to Phil Steele "the most improved D-Line in the Country")

Oklahoma St. has question marks all over the place this year especially their Offensive Line. This team has no business being DD favorites over anyone this year.

I am also on Northwestern. Kentucky really has problems at QB. They have also lost starting DT Mister Cobble to injury for the season. Kentucky also must rebuild their offensive line. That game is a definate pass for me, as are the rest of the games, though Washington State is a thought. Oklahoma State is really a bad team, but theydo return RB Kendall Hunter, who is better than any one player Wazzu has.

With Charlie Strong coming in I would imagine that Louisville will play hard to beat Kentucky since they've been down and out in recent years. That Kentucky/Louisville game is probably best teased if anything.

Why the hell would anyone be on the Michigan/UConn game. Uconn is gonna have a hard time on the road even though Mighigan isnt that good and at the same time Michigan better win this game in order to get off on the right foot. Just keep reading all these posts and everyone is on this game and there are so many better games out there!

Louiville is absolute garbage, new coach, new system, top 4 tacklers from last year are gone and 6 out of the top 8 are also gone. Not much talent on this team. Kentucky on the other hand still has plenty of talent, Cobb and Locke are studs! Newton and Hartline are decent QB's with experience.

They are young that is for sure... but I am not sure they are improved. I don't know much about Oklahoma St. so I think I will stay away from this game. Thanks for the input.

NorthwesternWildcats -3 (2 Units) - Jumped all over this bad boy when the line first came out. The cats have some questions at QB and DB but overall this is a solid team. The have 55 returning lettermen, the O-line remains intact from last year as well as their LB unit, and their an extremely well coached team. Vanderbilt on the other hand has questions all over the place including O-line, QB, RB, WR, DL, and Special teams! Only 10 returning starters on both sides of the ball with 26 lettermen lost. I see no strengths on this team. I'll be very surprised if they top last years two wins.

Kentucky Wildcats -3 (2 Units) - The Cats do have some question marks this year especially on the O-Line and at Linebacker, but they do have some talent returning as well. Their strengths are at WR, DB, and Special Teams. In particular with Locke and Cobb, both are back, and both are studs. I don't see the cardinals stopping them. Also I happen to like Morgan Newton, as a Frosh last year he looked pretty dam good against the SEC. Louisville on the other hand is the worst team in the Big East. With their top 4 tacklers gone from last year, a new coach, a new system, Questions at QB, DL, LB, and Special Teams..... I'll take the Cats!

Connecticut Huskies +3 (2 Units) - Why is Michigan favored here? What has warranted this line in the last three years? They'll probably be better than last year, but this team is just mediocre at best. There are question marks all over the place this year at QB, RB, WR, LB, DB, and Special Teams! On the bright side they do have a good D-line, they also have 15 returning starters and 53 returning lettermen. Connecticut on the other hand is a very impressive team (imho), with 16 returning starters including Todman! Looking at their schedule this year the Huskies could sweep the board as they get all of their toughest games at home. Connecticut has strengths on both sides of the ball including RB, OL, DL, LB, and Special Teams. I also expect much better play from Frazer this year as a Senior. Take the Huskies as a very strong play here!

Washington State Cougars +17 (2 Units) - As expected this line moved up a point or two, even tough I took it at +15, you can see it at +17 everywhere. I know the Cougars have been horrid the last few years but Oklahoma St. is an absolute mess and a team with holes to fill just about everywhere, as they're probably the worst team in the Big 12 this year. With only 33 returning lettermen, question marks at QB, OL, DL, LB, DB, and ONLY 8 RETURNING STARTERS on both sides of the ball you have to question why they're favored DD over anyone??? The Cougars on the other hand are a much improved team with 50 returning lettermen, 15 returning starters, a solid D-Line, and good special teams. There are some questions at WR and OL though! Regardless they'll be more competitive in their games this year and anything over 10-14 points here (imo) is too high.

Cincinnati Bearcats +3 (2 Units) - A lot of line movement in this one, just happy I got it when I did at +3. I made a play on the moneyline as well. The Bearcats are returning a nice squad this year even with the loss of Pike and Gilyard. They only lost 17 lettermen, they return 45, including Zach Collaros and Isaiah Pead. Remember, this is a team that won 12 games last year! They're very strong offensively this year, as I expect another high powered offense behind Collaros. The only question I have for this team is on D-line, as I don't really know what to expect? Fresno on the other hand is no slouch, I'll grant you that, with 57 returning lettermen this is a solid team. No real question marks here with the exception being on special teams. With the departure of Mathews though I don't see any real big threats or superstars here. The Bearcats are clearly a more talented team, and I don't see them losing in this spot.

Oregon St. Beavers +13.5 (2 Units) - Before I talk about the Beavers I will say that TCU is f***ing loaded this year. TCU was one of my highest rated teams comming into this season and I expect them to win this game. Now on to the Beavers, they're returning 58 lettermen, 15 starters, and a healthy combo of the Rodgers brothers. Their strengths are at RB, WR, OL, DL, and Special Teams. The only question here is at QB, but apparently Kalz had a great spring and the Beavers are expecting a lot from the Soph QB this year. This line is huge, 13.5 points is too much. TCU wins by 10.

Virginia Tech Hokies +2.5 (2 Units) - I'm not going to write much on this one other than the fact that both teams are loaded, both teams have National BCS motivations here, and both squads are very well coached. What I will say is that the Hokies should be favored here, they're more talented, and playing a virtual home game in their backyard. This place will be packed with Hokie fans. I like V-Tech as a homedog in this spot, too much pressure for Boise, and Tech will come in with a chip on their shoulder.

Tulsa Hurricane -7 (5 Units) - This line has now came down to -7 with almost 70% of the public on EC. Why, I have no idea? I guess recent history is the answer. Tulsa returns a nice squad this year and one the most potent offenses in the nation. With strengths at QB, RB, WR, OL, and Special Teams. Tulsa will score a sh**load of points this year. I do have some questions about their LB's but their D-line and D-backs will be much improved. They only lost 14 lettermen and IMO might be the best team in CUSA. Phil Steele has Tulsa as his #1 most improved team in the nation. East Carolina has a total of ONLY 8 RETURNING STARTERS this year, a new coach, a new system, and 30 lettermen gone! As far as strengths are concerned, I see little to none. As far as questions are concerned I see many including QB, RB, WR, DL, and LB. This is definitely a major rebuilding year for the Pirates.
