I agree, I am surprised that Memphis is even bowl eligible, as bad as I thought they were. Although, I think they improved as the year went on. This bowl started in '01 and the Sunbelt lost every year until last year when Troy beat Rice badly. This year the Sunbelt seems to be getting more competitive against bigger confs.
Troy over Okla St, FAU over Minn, and LaMonroe over Ala from the supposedly great SEC.

Over or Under ....Looks like line is 66... Both teams score big and have weak D's...Last ten games averages Mem 63.5, Fla, 68.0.
Does the long break here favor offense or Defense...either way might be a shady bet.....ANY IDEAS???

Going with FAU -3.5 for two units. Troy is a solid football team, much better than Memphis. I think FAU wins by 10+ tonight.

The fact that weather won't be a factor and it is on a fast track (turf) makes me go with over. Both teams have good speed and athletic ability at the skill positions. The undersized linemen and line depth is what gets them in trouble with the bigger schools. I think this game goes over early in the 4th. Look for a kid named Duke Calhoun to have a big game for Memphis tonight. I'm familiar with thtis kid. he can go.
