Which Head Coach do you fear the most?

What do you mean by "fear"? Are you talking about being on the other side of them from a betting standpoint, or just as a fan of an opposing team? Steve Spurrier has made me more money than any other coach in college football, followed closely by Mike Leach and Pete Carroll.

Even though his play calling has been questionable the last two weeks, i'd have to go w/ Spurrier!! They're very few games where i would concider betting against him..

Pete Carroll used to be the coach I feared most, but after my Beavers beat him last year that aura of invincibility has wafted away. This year I'd probably say Jim Tressel has been game-planning well, but Les Miles definitely has the biggest stones and would keep me sweating for the whole 60 minutes.

If I am betting on Pitt, I fear Wannstadt.
But if you mean which coaches do I hesitate to bet against even if I like the other side, then it's Ferenz, Grobe, Kelly, Bower, Hill, Spurrier off the top of my head.
Add Hawkins when he was at Boise.

I'm going to add Chris Peterson to that list after tonight's game...he did a superb job with his gameplan and severly outcoached and outschemed Pat Hill and Fresno St...my hat's off to him...

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Stoops or Urban Meyer.

I also fear Lloyd Carr. I fear that he'll still be coaching UM next year.

Since I am a Die-hard Razorback fan, I fear Houston Nutt the most. HE is a goon. I ditto RJT's comment regarding Lloyd Carr towards Nutt.

Stoops is a big game coach, and so is Mark Richt. I would fear those guys in big time road games.

I get scared to go downtown in Lawrence, KS in fear that Mangino will eat me!!! But he does have my Jayhawks undefeated!!
