Exactly. I am wagering on three things. The Va. Tech game, the NC Game, and no stumbles in between. I think if they are going to stumble in between, it will be against Oregon State at home, or Nevada, in Reno.

From your list Iowa stands out to me. I think they will be the class of the BIG TEN and for whatever reason they have been under the radar the last few years (not as much last year). I like Ferentz as a coach and his players really put it all out there, you can tell. Reminds me a little of the way the NW kids rally around Fitz, even with less talent they play almost everyone tight. The lines on both sides are always so good, and as you mentioned facing the tougher competition at home is a huge plus. That's a tough place to play.

Agree with BSU being the best pick, but still seems like a little bit of a long shot with the whole lose one and you're out thing

Not a big fan of these types of wagers because I don't think you ever get fair odds

I agree with you. These are the only plays that I bet as a fan. Every summer when I go to Vegas, I lay a small bet on my Crimson Tide for good luck. Finally paid this year, but not a bet I ever expect to win.

                        Miami +2000 or more

they are in the driver's seat if they can win at OSU. If they lose that and win out, they have the advantage of losing early in the year

Boise State is a no play here guys. No matter the "value" anyone see's. One loss will end the hopes of winning the NC. On top of that, they will have to play a very good team to actually win that game, by betting it you are claiming that they win 4 tough games, @V. Tech (Neutral site if you buy into it), Oregon State, @Nevada then the NCG. Which again I think people are putting too much stock that they have a good record at the Fiesta Bowl. I know they beat Oklahoma back in 2006 by 1 point on a trick play, but that same Oklahoma team lost by 1 point to a bad Oregon team back in 2006 as well, and Oklahoma probably expected to play in the NCG that year, which left the team with no motivation to win against BSU as they felt the season was a failure already. Although they did beat a pretty good TCU team last year in the Fiesta Bowl. Before you play this bet you have to ask yourself "Would Utah have beaten Alabama had the NC been on the line?" I would say no. Again I am no expert and my current picks in my spread sheet show I am not very good at betting, just putting another person's observation to the thread. Best of luck. In a bet like this I think luck would have to come into play quite a bit.
