all bias aside, Harris is the better QB. I think that OSU has the d-line and secondary to disrupt him, and I think Miami has the same advantage against Pryor. The biggest problem with Pryor is his tendency to lock onto a receiver. He doesn't progress through his reads and makes him likely to throw picks. He's a great athlete, but he's an even greater underacheiver. Harris is an impressive QB who makes stupid mistakes but at the same time, he can make the right throw at the right time. I took Iowa over OSU last year after Stanzi was injured simply because even though they were without their QB, they still had an amazing defense and OSU still had a bad QB. The result, OSU won 27-24 in OT.

As you guys mentioned, inconsistency has plauged Miami for the last couple of seasons and it was definitely evident last year. They were slaughtered at VT (weather is no excuse, they play in Miami for god's sake), Wisconsin and John Clay ran all over them, and NC definitely had their offense figured out. But the positives of UM's season were OC Mark Whipple, the emergence of playmaking WR's, and the health/depth of their RB's. It's going to be hard to predict this season for UM especially with many question marks surrounding their O-Line.

I'm not going to go too in-depth about OSU but I can say that Brandon Saine can easily have a field day with Miami if Pryor can make the throws that they need him to.

This one is OSU all the way. At the Horseshoe, night game (if I'm not mistaken), and some good team leadership.

This defense will be better than last year's defense (the same one that dismantled the Oregon offense), and the offense will be much improved with a third-year starting Pryor.

Miami on the other hand has had some great recruiting classes. But I don't understand why everyone is so enamored with Harris in the rest of the Northwestern grads. I think the running backs are overhyped, and my goodness that defense got its @$$hole punched in by Wisconsin. Ohio State is like Wisconsin on steroids when it comes to the power game.

I see this one being a double digit win. If the line is -6, I'm pounding Ohio State.

Again, the major difference that I see is the fact that Miami gets manhandled by physical teams, and this plays right into Ohio States hand. Harris will be rushed, and throw at least 2 INT's. Prior will keep it a bit conservative if Ohio States gets a lead. Turnovers will make the difference here.

This is Ohio States make or Break game for the season . This game will be determined by QB play.
Just depends on who is slumping and who is hot at the time i believe

This is game 2 of the season, and both teams have walkover home games to start the season, so I do not think that you will be able to spot a "slumping" team that early. I agree that this is a criticalgame for Ohio State. They failed to beat USC the past two years. They have to prove that they can beat a good non-con foe. A loss to Miami knocks them out of the BCS Championship race.
