    Only time will tell if this was a good move for both USC and Tenn. It doesn't look very good for Kiffin's class for leaving a job only after a year.

      Bringing Chow and Orgeron along is huge. This is basically the same staff they had during the glory years (01-04) minus Carroll.

      Really sucks to be Tennessee with NSD a few weeks away. No clue who they will target this time around (David Cutcliffe?).
      I disagree.

      Keep in mind USC asked the NCAA if they could self-impose their own penalties against their football program as Dan Wetzel reported and the NCAA said no.

      What does that tell you? The hammer is coming on the program.

      This is a horrible hire. If the NCAA imposes significant restrictions on recruting, it doesn't matter how good of a recruiter Oregeron is, it won't sell.

        Depends on what kind of sanctions they will get....If it is just losing scholarships, they can make it through. Losing scholy's is never good, but it could help you land a blue chipper or two.

        Recruit: How crowded will the backfield be? I know about you guys and your stable of backs...Guys always be leaving after they get no time.

        Kiffin: Actually, you will be our only running back on scholarship this year.

        Recruit: Where I sign?

I believe it was Tennessee who was a blocked field goal away from defeating 'Bama in Bama.
          this was supposed to be announced Thurday after school started.
          Kiffin did it yesterday to get his early recruits that would be starting school today to go with him to USC.
          class act , that Kiffin

            Is Monte going with him to USC? And what a combo that would be Monte and Chow. They should not miss a beat.
