no priest is a factor... brenel myers a freshman making only his 2nd start at right tackle vs jerry hughes is also a factor.

I am just not comfortable backing a team that let Fresno St, Tulsa, and LA tech make a game of it. Nevada final score was close but game wasn't, but a team that beats Tulsa by 7 pts cmon man. I will be looking for TCU to score early and often

I am back to going with TCU... great top 10 "D" compared to Boise's kinda good "D".

TCU beat tougher teams other than Boise's Oregon home win, which was early in the season before Oregon was clicking on offense. Boise played patsies other than that. TCU edged Clemson on the road, Air Force, and pounded BYU and Utah, their biggest contenders, big. It really does matter when you see a team that wins by 30 several times against good teams.

I think TCU will be able to run on Boise like Nevada and Fresno did, then pressure the QB when Boise is behind. I do not think Boise has seen pressure like TCU can bring, and freshman RT for Boise is going against a lot of talent. Boise is kind of public team since the Oklahoma upset (Oklahoma did not give a shit about the game) and the line is actually low.

TCU will want to blow them out, then claim that they have as much right to the national title as the Ala-Texas winner. If they just edge Boise, not as much to shout about.

I would take the points. These idiots on ESPN are trying to tout TCU as a far superior team than Boise. Boise plays well in every big time game the play in. If Boise can beat Oklahoma they can stay within the number against TCU. TCU is no better than the Oklahoma team that Boise played a couple of years ago.

2 years ago was a very different boise team. different QB, different running back, different receivers....you get the point.

i think this is a tough game to call. i love BSU but TCU I think matches up very well. I see a lot of people thinking over, but with two potent D's it could end up being a low scoring game.

I'm waiting til halftime to make a 2h wager. this one seems like too much of a coin flip for me - and i NEVER say that.

Boise St. is obviously overrated. They played a lot of no merit teams in the regular season to earn a position in the top 25, while TCU did otherwise. I won't be surprise to see TCU humble Boise St. with a score of 30-17 in this game. Take TCU and kill the books.

I am on TCU -7, for a couple of reasons, one being that all the dogs had been covering early in the bowl season, the favs have finally started to cover more

right now the dogs are 17-11-2, I figure favs should win 3 out of last four games

Also non of the favs with above 66% ats this year have covered, odds say Tcu covers regardless of the line

                          My 2 cents

                          66% 0r better

Secondly being this write up about last years game

Although the Horned Frogs barely held off Boise State in last year’s Poinsettia Bowl, they dominated the game from a statistical standpoint, finishing with edges of 472-250 in total yards, 275-28 in rushing yards, 28-15 in first downs and 36-24 in time of possession. Still, TCU came up short as a 3½-point favorite. The only other recent meeting between these schools came in the 2003 Texas Bowl, with Boise State prevailing 34-31 but failing to cover as a 10-point favorite.

Boise was totally out done last year, this year they will be beat by at least 14 points and they will probably backdoor the last TD

just because Boise St hasn't played the best doesn't mean they are incapable.
I expect Boise running game to control time of possession and slow down TCU.
