#2I see why you're perplexed. Both of these teams are inconsistent, capable of playing very well or stinking up the field. That said, I'm going with the SEC dog over the ACC favorite. Kentucky's offense can score, and their defense can make big plays often enough to win.Comment -

#3Kentucky is banged up and didn't beat anyone good this year. Clemson is inconsistent, but they seem like the right play. Lots of 'experts' seem to like Kentucky thoughComment -

#4Yea true but Clemson has CJ Spiller....He's a game changer. I have a feeling this game will be similar to USC-BC with everyone thinking that Clemson won't play hard since they lost the ACC title game, but that won't be the case. I'm taking Clemson for a unitComment -

#6My square bet goes with Kentucky +7. Out of KU's 5 losses only 2 were by more than 7 -- to Florida and Alabama...respectively. Also, it seems KU plays better away from home. The one road loss was to South Carolina (28-26) who lost only 1 at home (to florida 24-14). Clemson has lost 2 straight and how they will react to that is beyond me but I see this game being close and given how KU plays away from home I like them with the points. I'm sorta liking the over 53 on this too. Thoughts on that?Comment -

#12UK +7 big with a little sprinkle on UK ML. was leaning under (in their 8 relatively recent bowl appearances - i.e., since 2003 - these two teams have only broken 50 points once, and that was UK 35-28 over Florida State in '07 when FSU had about 20 players suspended), but sounds as if the board is leaning over. good thing i have all day to think about it....Comment -

#15I am 1-1 with my mad money wagers for +25 bucks. For today's play I took Kentucky +240. The ACC is having a tough weekend so far, and I think Kentucky, a team who lovew to win bowl games, can make it an 0-3 start for the ACC. Celmson hs lost their last two games, and their last 3 bowl games. They may want to showcase C.J. Spiller, and that is always dangerous. But don't take this to the bank quite yet. I call it "Mad Money" for a reason.Comment -

#16Love Kentucky in this game. The Wildcats are happy to be in Nashville, the Tigers, not so much. I was in downtown Nashville last night and the blue was everywhere. I expect Ky to win this game out right. Middle SEC teams vs upper ACC teams = SEC win.
Prediction: Kentucky 31 Clemson 27Comment -

#18My $0.02: In 2006 at the same Bowl, Kentucky beat Clemson (-10 by the way) and covered 28-20. KY in their 4th straight bowl with 3 of them at the Music City Bowl, so theyre comfy here and are 3-1 with the only loss coming to Syracuse in 1999. Cobb plays QB, RB, WR and Kick Returns not to mention Locke who is 2nd in SEC All Puropse yards. Only Florida and Auburn beat KY by more than 7 this season.
Clemson has a new coach in Swinney and are in the 10th bowl game in 11 years. Spiller grabbed ACC player of the year and either broke or tied 31 school records: 7,000+ all purpose yards, 50 TDs and 7 KO returns. They fell early (2-3) but recovered nicely with a 6-game streak, averaging more than 40ppg. Closed season with 2 losses includin that last game fall in the ACC Champ game. To boot, Clemson hasnt covered a bowl game in the last 6 years.
Think Im passing on this one, but KY on the ML (+210) and the Over (53). KY - 28, Clem - 24.Comment -

you cant
the difference is Spillers, Cobb, and Hartline.
I'm not positive Hartline plays but have heard he will.
I've already got O53.5
been leaning on UK ML but havent pulled the trigger yet.Comment -
