That's what everyone was saying when they played Tulsa. I watched that game, and it looked like the only thing they cared about was winning, not how they won.

It sounds insane to say this week is a look ahead game for La Tech because they are on the national stage tonight. However, something to consider is ... next week is LSU. How many of these kids are pissed off because LSU didn't recruit them and are excited to show LSU that they F'ed up in not looking at them?

Is it likely this will be the case? Probably not ... but I think it's plausable.

I remember when Boise State played Tulsa.... the next day Jim Rome says "congrats Boise for losing a chance at the National Championship by winning a close game". After that Boise stomped their next 2 opponents. Oregon is playing extremely well right now... which is really helping Boise State. The topic at halftime last night was "should Oregon be ranked higher than Boise State?". Boise State knows that WINNING the rest of their games will NOT get them into the big game. They need to score a lot of points and hope there are some losses. They cant control what other teams do but they can control what they do on the field. I dont see this team coasting to a win tonight. Boise State won 38-3 last year. LT has lost by 24, 18, 23.... all to UNRANKED teams. I look for Boise State to win big tonight.

La Tech is on a 10-1 SU run at home and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 at home vs Boise! Porter is their whole team so if he can't go then thats a different story but +21.5 on Bodog looks pretty good to me here!

First, Boise State is not going to play for the Championship, no matter what happens tonite. If they fail to cover, and do not look convincing, they can forget about playing in any BCS Game. The WAC is very down this year. Boise is playing a team that would have trouble against our JUCO team out here. I hope La. Tech keeps it close, so Boise falls fruther in the BCS ratings.
