Missouri +150
I love what the books are doing on this game. Nebraska is getting all the encomiums from the public. People have been talking about how great their defense is. Money starts pouring on Nebraska. The books promptly adjust the spread from 3.5 to 4 points in agreement with the public. Then less than 2 hours to the game, the books begin to speak the truth. The spread has been restored back to 3.5 in line with the TRUTH.
The truth is that the public is being fooled by Nebraska's 55-0 win over a non-existent Lafayette team. Nebraska aren't yet where we'd like to believe they are. Hear this:
"The Tigers should have an advantage playing at Faurot Field. Missouri has won 23 of 27 home games and taken three straight over Nebraska at Faurot.
Nebraska has lost seven in a row and 14 of 15 road games against ranked opponents."
I'm not doing Mizzou because of that lovely trend, but because a Mizzou SU win is a fact-in-waiting.
