Why is mich state 3 1/2 pt fav over michigan

I thought the same thing. Kinda seems like a trap, but I wanna pound the ML hard. UM should roll in this one. Mich St always plays them pretty close until the 4th when they implode.

Because Michigan has a horrible defense and a freshman QB that is going into his first true road test. I don't necessarily believe in traps but if it is a trap it is bait for the Michigan backers.

I wanted to go w/ Michigan also, but there's been lots of rumors that Forcier's injury is worst than reported. You might just want to find out bad the injury is before putting $$$ down. GL

The line opened at Michigan -2 and has moved 5.5 points against Michigan.....for some an automatic play on Michigan at +3.5 due to public allover Mich St.

Where did you find this info that public all over Mich. St?
I've been looking at the line history for this game for the last couple of days in all major off shore books, and seem like 70% of public on Michigan across the board.

because Michigan has shown to be a meidiocre team....they have beaten up on two crappy MAC teams, almost got beat at home by Indiana, and almost got beat at home by Notre Dame.

On the other side Mich. St. barely lost at home to THE BEST team in the MAC, and barely lost on the road to Notre Dame and Wisconsin. Mich. St. beats em by at least a TD

I think Michigan almost lost to Indiana because they were looking ahead to this game. I was on Indiana last week because I didn't think they would cover that many points. Once again Michigan maybe looking ahead because they have Iowa next. However, I think Michigan will do enough to squeak out a win. While Michigan appear to be a mediocre team, Michigan ST hasn't done anything to be favor by 3.5. I'll take the point and bite the bullet. I see many good cappers are on Mich St. So GOOD LUCK to me.
