it wouldnt surprise me at all if this is the biggest asswhooping of the opening weekend. Seriously, no joke, UCLA like 55-0 or something.
Anyone agree?
UCLA -20 seems like a joke.

Iam staying away from this game. To risky for me on opening weekend. I know Pags posted in another thread he was going with San Diego State +20. UCLA should whip that ass, but you never know. Good Luck!

Neuheisel will have his boys ready to thump SDSU. SDSU is terrible. This is a signal game to SC and the rest of the Pac10.... UCLA won't stop going strong in it.

gentlemen,
anyone know how many times UCLA scored over 24 points last year? 3...anyone read the training camp reports on UCLA's offense lately?...also remember SDSU had good players last year (at least on the offensive side of the football), just a bad coach...now Brady Hoke from Ball St. runs the program...laying 20 with UCLA is not as easy as it appears...

the same ball state that got smacked by buffalo? i hear ya, but i think neuheisel will have the team focused, the offense (as questionable as it might be compared to pac 10) and prince will shred sdsu, and sdsu will struggle to do anything right in the rose bowl (if it doesn't burn down this week).
you could be right, and 20 is a lot to lay, but this game could easily be a blowout

stats,
if you remember correctly Brady Hoke did not coach Ball State in the bowl game...he had already left by then...UCLA will be focused and they will be fairly sound defensively...UCLA's offense and "shred" are just not two words that go together right now...

Ball State said on Monday that Brady Hoke has resigned.

yes and Nate Davis had the flu badly...Brady Hoke is a 1000% better coach than Chuck Long...in fact, I wouldgo as far as to say that there isn't a coaching edge in this game...
Rocky Long (old New Mexico coach) is the SDSU defensive coordinator and their offensive coordinator is Al Borges (old Auburn offensive coordinator)...great staff, comprable to UCLA's if not better overall...

Where's the offense going to come from? UCLA is pretty young...Is Prince starting???You got a kid playing his first collegiate game, with virtually no runnning game...with one of the worst offensive lines from last year???Not sure that = offensive machine...If Kraft plays you're talking about a guy who had a 3INT to 1 TD ratio...(20ints, 7tds)...I think UCLA is pretty thin on the O-line as well as there were a few injuries to guys that were fighitng for a starting spot...i just don't see where UCLA is going to get the points from again this year...

stats,
SDSU's defense is definitely something to be concerned about...however, they do have one of the best defensive minds in college football directing the defense now...that, and UCLA is having trouble gaining positive yards in their own scrimmages...
