I had a strong bowl season last year for those that tagged along. At first glance this years crop seems tougher, but I'm digging into it and finding some winners hopefully!


Starting off heavy:

Utah State ML -260/Kent State $780-$300

Most likely should just lay the 7. I laid 7 or 7.5 last year with Utah State, but they were better last year. Either way though....love this play. I think Utah State comes out with Jordan Love and takes control. Sort of like how Wyoming showcased Josh Allen in his final game as they stomped another MAC team in C Mich 2 years ago. Love struggled this year, but they're talking possible late 1st round. He's that talented! Kent State is a 6-6 MAC team. They're #105 in the Sagarin ratings and hell there's only like 135 D1 teams. US is #71

Utah State 37-24

Central Florida/Marshall Over 61 $275-$250

UCF was 10-2 with games >61 points this year. I found 61 (vs 61.5 everywhere else) at our new sportsbook (Caesars affiliate). I see UCF lighting it up and Marshall answering enough to get it done.

UCF 41-27

Have alot more to play with this year. Cfb and cbb have been good and work has been great!

Good luck! Utah State isn't scoring like they did last year. They lost alot of skill position guys and OL, but Kent is pretty weak.

Utah State QB Jordan Love and their leading RB busted for pot. Line has dropped to 5.5. Pot is legal in neighboring Colorado.....surely the penetrating Mormon pud whackers at Utah State won't suspend him? I'm gambling with my gambling now.

Adding:

Even if Love doesn't play or gets suspended for a quarter or half, I still like Utah State. The MAC is 2-16 in bowl games dating back to 2015 with Ohio getting both wins. Utah State's coach Gary Anderson is pretty good. He went 11-2 with Utah State in 2012 and he's trying to get them back to that status. Going out to get the 8th win and their 2nd bowl win in a row. I think they'll take this one seriously!

I ride with La Tech every year. I waited this year because Miami is 1-8 in their last 9 bowl games and should be motivated. I wanted to study it a little more. The thing is the game is in Louisiana and La Tech just rises up for these bowl games. They've won 5 in a row under Skip Holtz. Miami has been inconsistent on offense and on the road in general.

Can't say I know squat about either team, but I've been looking at numbers and show this one in the high 50s. Oddsshark has Buffalo 37-23. Good enough for me!


Also want to throw in a worse case scenario for tonite. If Utah State loses then $250 of my loss would be a sign up bonus. Don't see it happening though

Well boys.....turned it around so don't have to blow this thread up quite yet!!

UCF Over......easy winner
La Tech........easy winner. Grabbed more at +7 and +210 ML when it went up yesterday. Plus grabbed more Live at 7-0 when Miami's offense looked so dead

also had San Diego State but didn't mention that anywhere on SBR so I won't claim it officially


Adding:

North Carolina/Temple Over 53 $165-$150

Temple has a good defense for their schedule, but 1-3 on the road this year. 38 allowed at Buffalo? More importantly 56 allowed vs Duke last year in their bowl game. NC's passing attack and athletes are a step up for them. At the same time Temple can wing it around and NC doesn't have a great defense.

Air Force -2.5 / Wash State $216-$200

Wash State is soft. They've always been soft. Yeah they can throw it around, but 3 things can happen when you're forced to throw and 2 are bad. AF is more disciplined of course and should get a key turnover or two. They just keep grinding and Wash State will break imo!!
