Anybody that knows the navy program well check in. Why are they so bad this year? I thought they returned a good number of starters from a team that was decent last year.

Yeah Reynolds was awesome. They have 0 passing threat this year. Thats the only issue I have with Abbey- he cant throw at all. With the triple option you have to at least have a little threat to throw. Even if its just 2 passes a game where you pull it out and throw a bomb. Ga Tech can do this.Comment -
Look at their record for the past 4 seasons. 11-4, then 9-5, then 7-6 and now, best case scenario 5-8. Normally when teams consistently regresses over a number of years, it is not a good sign. It is a Military Academy so recruiting is really dicey at best. Coaching? Hard to say, but another loss to Army will raise a lot of red flags.Comment -

Just haven't had the recruiting class like we used to. We're missing that playmaking qb and backs who can make plays. Hopefully we'll get some better recruits in. Right now Army is what we used to be. Not very optimistic about the game this year.Comment -
