I'm talking Hawaii who opened at +15 1/2 @ BYU. Hawaii is 6-1, their only loss coming @ Army, by 7 points, in a game that was played at 6:00 a.m Hawaii time. BYU is 3-3 with a huge upset win over Wisconsin, and two straight losses. Can BYU win? Sure they can, but can they cover 15 1/2? I seriously doubt it. They are 2-3 ATS with both covers coming on the road. The line has fallen to 11 in some books and is really fluctuating up and down. Hawaii +15 1/2 is my play.
Another line that surprises me is USC -7 at home against Colorado. Colorado has not played many good teams. Only Arizona State has a .500 record. The fact is that Colorado State is undefeated at 5-0 both S/U and ATS. They do what is expected of them and they cover. USC is 3-2 ATS and finally got their first cover of the season (1 point) against Arizona. USC has not lost at home since Helton took the HC reins and some think that is the main reason he is still there. I see a hard fought tough game. No way I give Colorado and anything near 7 points.
