Red Raiders -16½ vs Bears

Look for the Red Raiders to cover the big spread Saturday in Lubbock against the Baylor Bears.
This is a cheap number considering the game last week for Baylor was very costly, losing all-world QB Shawn Bell to a torn ACL.
The Bears have won more Big 12 games than ever in school history this year. But in the spread attack they use on offense, Bell made it happen. He is now gone.
Texas Tech won this contest last year 28-0 and just scored 31 points on the Longhorns in Lubbock last week against a Texas defense that is no slouch. It was a game Tech should have won. It's been a disappointing year for the Red Raiders, but I look for Head Coach Mike Leach to unleash the hounds against the Bears who will clearly who will struggle on offense in this one. Baylor has given up a whopping 43 ppg in their last three. Hold on to your hats; here come the Red Raiders!
Texas Tech-35 Baylor-10
Play: Texas Tech -16½
