    Boston College -13.5
    Ball St. -4.5
Temple +6 (two horrible teams, a field goal will decide it one way or the other)
    Fl International +10.5
    Northwestern -4
    Minnesota -16.5
    Iowa St -8 (changed pick)
    South Carolina -6.5
    UTEP +1.5

All Lines from VIP all games 2 units
    Excellent job DD11.

Very nice. Just noticed you had Ball St as well. I hit that one today myself today for three units.

You see ESPN scrolling the scores as E.Michigan up 14-0 for the longest time? When Ball St. was actually winning the game.

    Again, good job.

Ball St beat a better E Michigan team last year at E Michigan so I have little doubt that they will be able to cover at home versus one of the worst MAC teams.

My pick: Ball St -4.5 (1 unit)

central michigan and s.c.- m.s.u. over

sharp money dropped this spread from 13 to 10 1/2 between monday and thursday..it has settled at 11...b.c. lost all but one skilled player on offense. plus, they always play down to there comprtition...over in the s.c.-m.s.u. game....2nd year in spurriers system, m.s.u. defense actually stunk last year against every every every decent opponent and without norwood, and now having a solid pure pocket passer, m.s.u. will throw the ball alot...you cant possibly take that 27th ranked defense to heart.. they were 1-7 in the sec and there non-conference loss was to houston (28) points...3-8 does not equate to 27th in the nation on defense.

    Miami-Ohio (+190) ML---1 unit to win 1.90 units (Pinnacle)

I just think that there is a lot of value with them tonight. The line just keeps going up too. I think Northwestern coming out of the gates, with a death of a coach in the offseason, has way too much variance. I'm taking this on value because I think Miami-OH might be the best in the MAC this year and, at +190, is worth a shot. Good luck to everyone.

    sjelveh,

I'm just not sure I can agree that Chuck Long's a better head coach than Mike Price at this point...to be honest with you, I thought his playcalling at OU was very average...I mean the guy's a good QB coach and alll...

as far as hamilton finally being healthy, I'll believe it when I see it...the QB, O'Connell I believe, is prety good, but he lost his stud WR's Ortiz and Webb...

we'll have to agree to disagree here...GL...

SDSU –1.5 against utep I went to sdsu have talked to some players Hamilton after looking like a stud his freshman year and then a 2 year layoff is finally healthy, again plus I think college is 90% coaching and I think sdsu has the advantage there as will sdsu has most of their secondary back and utep is primarily a passing team plus sdsu qb is the best qb they have had in 8 years. I am wondering why does everyone here like utep. I have bet against sdsu a lot over the years. Last year when they played ucla me and all my friends bet every extra penny we had on ucla. Then I bet with sdsu against Ohio state and tcu because for some reason they cover against ranked teams. But I told everyone at the end of last year that this year is the year to bet on them. I think they win this game by 14 and then i dance cuz I am makeing a huge bet on them but what do i know 10 units $1000 kinda dumb that my biggest bet of the year will be my first bet but what a way to start.

I really like Ball St -4.5 at home vs E Michigan. Ball St returns 10 offensve starters from last year including QB Joey Lynch (who could be one of the MAC's better QB's). They have good linebackers and safties on D. E Michigan will be starting a new QB this year along with a whole new backfield. Ball St beat a better E Michigan team last year at E Michigan so I have little doubt that they will be able to cover at home versus one of the worst MAC teams.

    * Please note that one of my units in college football is significantly larger than one unit in college hoops (as there are less games throughout the season than in basketball, and I have been capping college football longer)...that all being said, here's my first play of the year...

    UTEP ML +107 1 unit
