Remember they did beat defeated and then-No. 12 Ball State 42-24 to capture their first MAC championship.

They are basically playing a HOME game as far as I see it.

Yeah, I was thinking of playing Buffalo here...just haven't decided yet. If tomorrow goes well, I'll be on it. They will be pumped to be in their first bowl game, and it being so close to home is no doubt an advantage.

I love Buffalo. Turner Gill has done an amazing job there. Turner Gill will always be loved by the Husker faithful.

BUT, Buffalo is not going to win that game. Buffalo got SOOOOO lucky to beat Ball State. Did you watch the Buffalo/Ball State game? Ball State was up 10-7 at half time. After trading TDS Ball St was up 17-14 and ready to score again. Then BACK TO BACK FUMBLES recovered for TDS put Buffalo up 28-17 and Ball State could never recover. Ball State beat themselves that game. They couldnt handle the pressure of trying to finish undefeated. The Mid-America BLOWS!

So the question in my mind is...... Can Buffalo hang within a field goal?

Yup, best moneyline bet of the bowl season (with the exception of Utah - see my comments before the Utes game yesterday). Buff is playing at home, major excited about being in a bowl. it's a team that has gotten much better as the season progressed, so the stats are deceiving. Turner Gill is a great coach and will have his team ready to play.
