I also Like Kentucky +3.5 they play in better conference..

Leaning Towards Utah +9 I think they hang with Bama, Utah has an explosive OFF...

Leans for tomorrow:

Texas Tech - 3 I really love Tech right now. I just don't see Ole Miss keeping up with them at the Cotton Bowl. The win against Florida is not a true representation of this team. Too many people only remember that one victory IMO.

Kentucky / ECU Under 41 Two very good defenses collide here both with very below average offenses. I see the final of this game being around 17-13 or 17-10.

Alabama -9.5 Another play I really like. Alabama is going to hold Utahs explosive offense down. When Utah played TCU they struggled to get anything going offensively and quite frankly should've lost the game with 6 offensive points. Alabama will be too physical and the running game will dominate Utah.

The Texas Tech game is a classic letdown game. I'm just warning all of you that think I'm crazy for betting on Ole Miss. Texas Tech..... just like Oklahoma and Texas..... has only one loss this year. It went to the tie breakers and Oklahoma played in the Big 12 Championship and now in the National Championship. Texas Tech feels like they got screwed. They lost one game this year..... a thumping by OU. That was a HEARTBREAKING loss for Texas Tech. What did they do the following week after getting THUMPED 21-65 by the Sooners?? They trailed BAYLOR for 3 quarters before rallying to score 2 td in the 4th quarter to win. Now this #8 Texas Tech team with only one loss is playing in the COTTON BOWL! They didnt even get a BCS bowl. This team.... who was overrated anyway...... has lost all heart and desire to play. IF they win.... it's by a field goal.... but I'm picking them to lose.

I like Bama. Teams like Utah don't know what they are getting themselves into by running up against one of the top SEC defenses. They have not seen speed like this and will find out quickly they are in trouble. I see them making a point against a team that should have lost to TCU. Hitting up BAMA at -9.5.

I also like the under in the Kentucky game. each team doesn't do much except run the ball. I might stay away until before gametime.

Someone said it before, but the TTU vs Ole Miss game depends on what kind of Ole Miss team shows up. Tech will not be able to run and will but up 50+ passes. Ole miss has a weak secondary but an outstanding D-line. This will either be a blowout bc. Ole Miss doesn't show up, or it will be a nail biter.

Another thing. Ole Miss has a good defense but against some of the worst quarterbacks in the country they are right around 60th against the pass. They really don't have that great of a secondary. If Texas Tech gives Harrel time (they allow right around 1 sack a game) they will pick Ole Miss apart.

Again....all opinion but GL to all.

Husker36 it really doesnt even matter if Texas Tech is in a letdown game or not. They will lose either way. Will only lose by 7 if they are motivated. But if not like you say Ole Miss wins by atleast 21.

Mississippi +4 This is a tough game to figure out. I'm a Big 12 guy and TT are complete PRETENDERS! Yes, they beat Texas. BUT that was on a last second pass against a big rival. It was also AFTER Texas had beaten OU, Missouri, and OUst. Pretty brutal schedule for Texas. Miss has been up and down all season. They beat Florida at Florida..... but lost to Vandy and South C. I like Mississippi to WIN the game outright. I'll be playing the +4 and a little on the ML.

Alabama -9 I know Alabama suspended their stud D player. Doesnt matter. This top SEC team will crush Utah.

Still working on the E Car/Kentucky game. I'm leaning towards E Car but I'll let you know my final decision. GL!

Staying away from the E.Carolina game, probably wont watch it either. BOL

My reason I'm on Ole Miss is simple.The Tech air game is tough to prepare for on a weekly basis.Thats why teams have so much trouble with it.Nutt and the Rebels have had ample time to prepare.The biggest advantage I see here for the REBS is that they have a pretty strong running attack and will be able to control the game to a certain extent.They also have Snead who is a very capable QB along with some talent at the Receiver position.If they do fall behind,they do have the talent to get back in the game.If the Rebels don't win it,they can sure as hell keep this game close.True!Nutt is 2-5 in bowl games----with ARK.New ERA here!

That's what the forum is for. To compare notes and hopefully all get on the right side. I've had Old Miss circled for a while. About the only thing that would change my mind would be some NEW info.... like a bus crash or suspension. Everyone laughed at me when I picked Notre Dame. I was wrong on Boston College.

You have to do some major thinking here Husker it might not be a good idea to look for others advise when you do a pretty good job on your own. You can see that most of the unders have good reason in bowl games but going on what someone else says is bad for your pocket book.

I agree that husker has been doing great but this is why we are here on this forum.There is always going to be a game that you just can't get a read on and then you see an angle that someone puts up that helps you make a decision on the side or a total.No matter how good or how how hot you are,we all encounter games that we just can't get a read on.I noticed you didn't take the over!WHY?I think it's funny that you didn't take the over and you put something up there like this.At least disagree with the under!GEEEEEEEEZ.GL though carrenzo!

I understand what you are saying carrenzo..... and for the most part it's good advice. Yes, I have been doing quite well. I respect Guru and we have had several chats and compared notes many of the games. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we dont. Guru had a big play on the over in the LSU/GTech game. He convinced me it was the right play and I put a unit on it both for the first half and the entire game. (atleast I split) The first half was amazing..... and I still cant believe they didnt go over the 50.5 when the half time score was 35-3! I think he was right on the over.... but got extremely unlucky that LSU/Gtech scored THREE points in the second half. I think we ALL thought G-tech was good for more than 3 lousey points! Anyway..... I RARELY pick the over/unders. Unless its like the Pats/Buffalo game and the weather is absolutely terrible.... I find it difficult to play the over/under. So I will always LISTEN to the other people advice on that. I heard a lot of people saying the USC/Penn St game would go under..... but I knew USC would kill Penn State and was worried THEY might go over by themselves.

I did notice that the UNDER is 17-10 so far. Maybe a trend for us all to keep in mind.

Call it what you want..... but when USC is up 31-7 at halftime..... then I call it a blowout. Yes, USC got lazy and cocky and ALMOST let Penn St have the backdoor cover. Penn St rallied for 17 points in the 4th Q..... and STILL lost by 12..... I call that a blowout. BUT..... I'm CRAZY!!!
