DOLCE,

1 game I enjoyed with Houston. I watched the game, not betting just watched it, was the game against Tulsa!
They matched so well with Tulsa offense, that was sooooo damm impressive.

I couldn't believe how they manhandeled the Tulsa OL, and got into the backfield at ease almost every single play. After that game, the experts saw Houston as one of the best teams in NCAA football.

Houston playcalling was outstanding, they made audibles at the line early in the game, and that I remember was the difference cause they just found Tulsa weakness it seems early, and never looked back.

I think Houston won that game like by 40 points.

im like 3 for 11 on over under games, but 11 for 16 on Point Spread. Im learning fast that i suc at over under.. might as well go vegas and throw it up in the air.

peach agreed! For totals all 4 (yes 4) sides have to play nice. Both offenses and both defences, one doesnt play to its strength it could mess everything up. Stick with picking a side.

Over unders on baseball.....well lets just say you can make mortgage payments if you do your home work and follow streaks...thats a convo for another thread.

I don't know if I would make a good head coach. I dont think I would EVER kick a field goal from the 1 yard line. Atleast not in the 1st 3 quarters.

ya don't do over/under. you mind as well just flip a coin. if you sportsbetting it's because you know sports. So bet a game that you know lots or at least partly about.

I knew houston was a good team, but when they matchup against Air Force it's all tossed out, cause really these 2 teams are both average/slightly below average.

But I feel Houston is going to win. AND AND AND AND I think they are going to blow Air Force out because Air Force seems to have troubles playing late in the games, and if Houston can just get coached properly on the DL/LB side, then Air Force will be forced EARLY IN THE GAME to get out of their gameplan, so it might even be mid 2nd qtr and Air Force is down by 10-17 points.

Air Force should be able to run the ball ALL GAME LONG on houston, and that worried me, but from what I know in Houston is that I saw they should be able to do a bit more on the offensive side, and i'm puting faith in Sumlin to coach the D through the game, and get stops.

I rarely play over and unders and when I do I usually only play for 1 unit. Unless someone can convince me that it's a big play I usually lay off. Like last night's game.... I LOVED Rice.... but never thought they would hold WM to 14!

Guru has convinced me that GT/LSU over is the play.... so I'll put 2 units on that one.

Scary, bettors like to speak in terms of "units" rather than actual cash wagered. A unit is whatever the bettor wants to define it as. Some bettors use $100 = 1 unit, while some use $50 = 1 unit and others $10 = 1 unit. Whatever you decide to use, it's best to specify it either in your signature or post. This allows others to get an idea of how much you like the play.
For instance, my bankroll is only around $1,000, my units are $25.00. Not only is it a way to define your bets here but it is useful in managing your money (one of the hardest rules to keep!!!).

My unit is $200. But why does that matter? Like you said.... your bankroll is $1000........ and your unit is $25. (with $1000 your unit should be $10 but nevermind that) I really dont think the world needs to know what each of us bets. I dont care if someone's bankroll is $10 and their unit is 1cent... if they are up 450 units wouldnt you follow them?

I remember when people were freaking out about Michael Jordan losing money in Vegas. Well MJ losing $250,000 in Vegas is like me losing $100 in Vegas. It's all relative. Ya know?

..........come watch my giants repeat my friend....it was very sweet to watch the Jets ruin it for the pats......poor poor billy belly-check, with the smelly hoody that looks like it should have been retired two seasons ago

If you follow basic money management....... 1 unit should be 1% of your bankroll.

So if you have $10,000 1 unit would be $100. Let's say 6 months later you bankroll builds to $14,500. Then 1 unit should be increased to $145. If your bankroll fell to $9,000 then your unit should drop to $90.

I thought i was down for my first half bet, and then with 32 seconds I thought I had a chance, then I thought it was certain.

Under the 10% rule, yeah it should be $10 but that doesn't get my blood pumping so I upped it to $25. Told you the management aspect was the toughest rule to follow

Nobody even had AF 1st half. Unit is just mad that the Pats are sitting home this year. If he had AF 1st half.... then say so BEFORE half time and then pat yourself on the back when it covers.
