I like West V -2, except I dont like that the game is being played in North Carolina.

I also like the under in Wisconsin and Fstate.

BTW, you got a very weird line for the Cal-Miami game. Most places I have seen have the line at Cal -8 or 9..

i would be hesitant to take that game at -10.5..it could very well be a 30-20 or a 31-21 or a 34-24 game..all i'm saying is that your much better off with cal -8 or 9 IMO

I think I like NC now after a few articles I just read:

There is not much separating these two teams in the form of talent. North Carolina will be stronger in the trenches and has bigger athletes overall. West Virginia, however, is working with superior speed at the offensive skill positions and QB Pat White is the game's most dynamic playmaker.
Still, there are a few reasons to believe North Carolina will ruin White's farewell performance. The first is coaching. The Tar Heels are a better coached team with Butch Davis calling the shots. The second is the venue. North Carolina fans have a much easier commute to the home-state stadium in Charlotte. The third is motivation. This is a step down in class for West Virginia, which has played in five consecutive New Year's Day bowls prior to this season. On the flipside, this is considered a building block for a young and rising UNC program playing in only its second bowl since 2001.

West Virginia has two key defenders who have practiced very little, if at all this week. Safety Sidney Glover hurt his knee in the South Florida game and Cornerback Brandon Hogan has been ill.
Mountaineer Coach Bill Stewart didn't want to talk much about the situation during a Friday morning news conference in Charlotte. "We're going to play eleven guys on defense and eleven guys on offense and eleven guys on special teams," Stewart said. "I want to talk about the guys who are playing not the guys who aren't."
Tackle Ryan Stanchek says the Mountaineers have practiced well in recent weeks, but it's difficult to predict how they or any bowl team will perform.
"It's hard to tell," Stanchek said. "All I know is that in preparation everyone has been doing the right things. We've had a good week of practice and hopefully it pays off."
Stanchek, Pat White and other Mountaineer seniors will be playing their last game in the Old Gold and Blue.
White says he's been thinking about that in recent days. He says his defining Mountaineer moment came during his early days in Morgantown. "Showing up for camp the first time," White said Friday. "The first day I officially became a Mountaineer. That was five years ago and it's been a long road."
White says West Virginia will have a challenge Saturday against an impressive UNC defense. He says the speed of the linebackers and defensive backs has gotten his attention.
White says a win would be a great way to end his career. "It would be nice to end with a win. I guess every game that you step out on the field sort of defines your character," White said.

Anybody know Pat whites record and stats in previous bowl games? I think I heard on espn or read somewhere that he is undefeated in bowl games and had very nice stats?

I've decided the key is to fade whatever the majority of this forum is on. I'm honestly absolutely NOT knocking the cappers on this thread. I've just noticed that wherever there is a heavy lean on this forum, that fading it has been very profitable. Good Luck to whomever you chose.

unless pat white played the same team in all three past bowl games that stat is junk, look how he played this year in espn nationally telivised games. That is still a junk stat as well but better to judge by. Hes playing with different players this year so it makes a big difference.

the best stat is to see is if NC can stop a mobile QB this year?... if not.....Pat will have a field day tomorrow.

Wisconsin +6 Its the most lopsided bet of the day. If you bet against the public on the bowl games so far you'd be a winner.

True in some aspects. It shows he has experience in bowl games and can get it done in these types of games. But that is the past, tommorrow is NC.

I got West Virginia at a pick 'em and I'm glad I did as the line has moved a couple points. I don't use online books since I have a local guy, but if anyone is putting a lot on this game, Las Palmas still has it as a pick 'em. Everywhere else looks like it's -1.5 or -2. GL today guys.
