    Tex A&m @ Texas
    TEXAS A&M +35.5

No doubt A&M is bad by Big 12 standards, but does Texas really win this rivalry game by 6 touchdowns. With the potential to play in a National Championship game, I can't see why they'd continue to play their starters once they're up by 28...Any thoughts?

I am almost 100% sure that Texas will not cover the spread That is to much point to cover. If you look at the past 10 years, Texas hardly ever beat A&M by more than 35 points. Good luck if you take Texas! Texas will quit playing in the 4th quarter after leading at least 21 pints.

That line is about right. Texas A&M is a bad team; see the Baylor result. Texas is a solid team playing at home for the last time this year with a chance to add "style" points to their resume. In case you forget there is a large debate about which team is more deserving of heading to the Conference Championship game; OU or Texas. Don't think they don't understand that margin of victory will count here after OU's beatdown of TT. I'm not betting on this game.

You could've meant Texas -35.5. Seemed more likely to me.

If Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State, BCS experts are saying they will jump Texas... No National Championship for Texas then.

All Texas can do now is beat A&M as badly as possible. BCS takes into effect "who looks best right now", and this is Texas's last chance to prove they do.

If Oklahoma struggles against Ok State and wins that game 38 - 34, and Texas beats A&M 35 - 10, No question Oklahoma should jump them.

Now, if Texas won 63 - 10... I have to think about it.

Impressing pollsters, beating the shit out of a hated rival, Colt McCoy heisman trophy chance, Texas does NOT take their starters out up 28.

Good points Vegas Dave. I'm always tempted to take these 5+ touchdown spreads when two BCS schools are playing each other. It's just hard to believe that two Big 12 schools could have a 6 touchdown separation in talent. But in this case it's close, and the points about Texas earning BCS respect is definitely valid.

I might still play it lightly in a parlay though.

+35.5, can't blame you. 45 - 13 type score very realistic. Don't bet less because of me if you like your lean; was just trying to help you see the other side

                            Good luck
